Hamil played the trickster in the original flash before he took on the voice role of the joker. He based his joker on his version of trickster. So it's pretty obvious the two would sound alike to people.

ok...so literally the entire team knows about Dr. Wells. How do we see the final bit of the season taking shape? I think the Wells character and Tom Cavanaugh are so good that I don't see them making him purely a villain. But I also don't want them to use any kind of time travel gimmick again to make everyone forget. Seems like a bigger threat may arise causing Barry and Wells to continue their alliance.

I think if they try and confront Wells about being the reverse flash he'll release some of the meta humans they've locked up to either get away or as a distraction. There's still an upcoming episode with Grodd too, so that may play into it as well. I hope they keep the Wells character around in some way though. I do expect them to revisit time travel by the season finale, just not sure to what extent.

absolutely can't stand Iris. She reached Laurel levels of annoyance to me in the last episode.

I am interested to see where they go with everything though. I also thought Grodd was pretty well done for a TV show.

I really never expected them to actually show grodd, as I stated earlier, but he was really well done. Unfortunately I think his budget came from arrow's choreography budget, because their fights have sucked ass this season

They're completely different shows. I'm okay with Gotham for what it is, but I definitely enjoy Flash more.

Interested to see where they're going with S2, lots of cool images when Barry is in the Speed Zone or whatever. Plus, the helmet that pops out of the wormhole hints at other dimensions as well as other times.

Good opening! One thing that really bugs me though -- they openly discuss the Flash's real identity all over the place. In last night's episode they were just talking about it right there in the police station with the entire police force within earshot, interspersing uses of "Barry" and "The Flash". Everyone there works with Barry too, so they'd know exactly who they are talking about!

So question for people who know more about the Flash than just this TV show -- how come when Barry is running around the city faster than sound, he isn't setting off sonic booms all over the place? That could be potentially very dangerous since he is usually right next to people and cars and stuff.

It's kind of annoying how they use Cisco in general as a way to stop just about anything. I get that this guy is intelligent and stuff but you have to draw the line somewhere. He was able to hack into the city's power grid and turn off the lights in a high school football stadium in like 8 seconds. Real hackers who spend their whole lives doing this kind of thing can't do that. I get that it is a comic book show and there are giant sharks and stuff walking around, but they should at least say that Cisco got a super power or something that makes him able to do all this stuff. At this point he's smarter than Bruce Wayne.

so what do we think the deal is with Harrison Wells 2? Does he have powers on Earth 2 that, like Garrick, don't transfer to Earth 1? Is that how he knew Flash could create images of himself and defeat Dr. Light?
