I went to the wilson GameStop at lunch to see if they had any. Yesterday they had told me they'd be getting some today by noon. I get there and the guy says the truck came and they didn't get any. A few minutes ago I checked a stock tracker and it said they had some available. Not getting my hopes up but maybe they'll have one after work.

I hate GameStop.

I have had to restart the system twice over the month. Both times it was like the os was unresponsive but the game was. So I could play the game, but couldn't go home or turn it off/put it to sleep. Just held the power button down and soft reset it. Came back find.

It is so nice to just be able to turn the thing on and get into zelda in 5 seconds.

Finally got one and have been going HAM on Zelda.

Pre-ordered Mario Kart 8 from Amazon, and delivery was delayed until today. I went pretty hard on Kumar in an online chat support convo and they gave me a full refund and told me to "enjoy the game".

Assume you're talking about Puyo Puyo Tetris. Physical copies are more expensive on the Switch because it costs more to manufacture Switch cartridges. The digital version of PPT is the same as others though.

I want to introduce my 5 year old daughter to gaming (outside of a phone/tablet) and was curious which way to go. Like an idiot I sold my Wii several years ago, so I'm wondering if I should pick up a Wii, Wii U or a Switch. I thought she might get a kick out of the motion style games with the Wii and the switch may be too complicated.

I also still have an Xbox 360 and could just pick up a Kinect, not sure which way to go.

I've got a 7 year old that really likes the Switch. She'll play snipperclips in a minute and she's been into Mario Kart since I got it. I just turn on auto accelerate and assisted driving and she has a ton of fun with it.

She wasn't really into games outside of the phone/tablet until recently either. She'd just play math planet or one of those stupid games where you put makeup on a cartoon character until I upgraded her

If the game was just Tetris I'd agree but this game is Tetris + Puyo Puyo (think Kirby's Avalanche/Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine if you're old school). It has A LOT of modes plus the standard online matchmaking and replays.

I liken it to a goofy For Honor. Slower paced fighting based on predicting your opponent. Which is good in my book.
