So who should I as a State fan be rooting for this weekend, both nationally and in the ACC?

In the ACC it doesn’t really matter. We need to beat Clemson. Nationally...I guess root against WV and ND. Any undefeated, really. But those 2 seem the least likely to make the CFP with a loss. 1 loss SEC champ Bama is still getting in. Probably the same for Ohio State unless there are like 4 undefeated P5 teams.

Mainly though (and yes it’s a pipe dream but embrace it) we just need to win our games. Because most likely there won’t be 5 undefeated P5 teams where we would get left out.

I'm cheering for BC, GT (over Duke), Pitt and Miami. I am indifferent on the VT-UNC game. I want VT to lose but I'm not going to root for UNC, even if they need a few more wins to keep fedora.

I was only half paying attention...so did the refs just award a combo 45 yard penalty against LSU? I didn't think that was possible. 15 yard targeting penalty, plus two simultaneous 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the same play.

Ohio State was blown out by 6-6 Purdue. Everyone else in the P5 has at least 2 losses.

^But they are undefeated. Now if there were a bunch of other undefeated P5 schools then yes you could argue they should be left out. As it stands we once again have five P5 schools with 1 or less losses to take 4 spots. Everyone else just has too many losses.
