^That's part of why that number seems unlikely tho. They are already throwing the kitchen sink at football. Where the heck are they finding elite basketball level NIL money on top of that. You'd think if there was that much more NIL to squeeze out, the boosters would want a lot of it going into the football pot.

LSU boosters are loaded and care about nothing but LSU sports. This is nothing for them. They were doing this shit before it was legal, and getting top 20 recruits on the regular. So yeah that's probably a real number.

^^I'm not sure why you're laughing. There's a rule that caps the amount of money the state of lousiana can give to athletes. If this governor was dumb enough to try and blatantly go around that, it would not end well.
