Not take anything away from it. Because I’m of the opinion that Ohtani is already probably the great baseball player of all time. But one of those HRs was off a position player right? I feel like, without doing any real research, I’d be inclined to put a 4HR game (with HRs all off actual pitchers) ahead of Ohtani’s game last night. But given the 50/50 accomplishment, it’s hard to argue against Ohtani.

I think I'd put a 3 homer, 6 for 6, 2 doubles, 2sb game above a 4 homer game, unless it was like 2 grand slams and like 12 rbi. Or at least there should be some kind of weighted scale

Saw an interesting video. Asking people (mainly Dodger fans) would you rather have Ohtani or Bonds when he was on Steriods/HGH?

They all said Ohtani, now some of that could be the Dodgers/Giants rivalry but most of these were fans that appeared to be in their 20's. They just don't remember Steriods Bonds had an OPS of .609

That’s a tough call.

Ohtani is also an elite pitcher when he’s pitching. That has to factor in. But steroids Bonds was insane. Bonds was also pretty unlikable right? Ohtani isn’t. I think that’s gotta bias some folks.

If it is this year’s Ohtani vs. Bonds 2001 73 home run year, then I take Bonds. If Ohtani is pitching, and he is just as good as before his injury then I take Ohtani.
