Yep which is why cardio doesn't really matter much.

You guys dont realize drinking doesn't matter much. I drank from 1 pm to 1 am sunday. Easily 25 drinks I was still buzzed til noon monday. I weigh 165.

Just eat and drink RIGHT and walk some and lift weights for real .

Oh if you drink 25 thats a lot. But most people in this thread are talking about 3 beers 2 times a week.

If those are miller lites thats a whopping 19 carbs and like 480 net calories. Of which some you probably ate less because of.

But lets assume you didnt. Thats still only 1 lb every 7 weeks. Not enough to worry about really. Take the stairs at work or park 0.1 mile from the entrance and you'll break even

Lets get real here there are people in this thread eating fucking cereal for breakfast, chick fil a or subway for lunch, and lean cuisines or some pasta shit for dinner who are worried about a few harmless beers. Worry about getting the ketchup, salad dressing, potatoes, grains, fruits, etc out of your diet before you skip social functions. I just dont want people to think they have to endure a night sober on the couch with their wife just to lose weight.

The average person is way fat enough to lose a lot of weight while drinking if they are smart about it and willing to walk and lift weights a few times a week.

Gotta get that RIP GIRLFRIEND mentality playas

I'm on a 2 lb a week diet, still drink beer and have several high calorie treats like ice cream. I don't see the point in creating a short term weight loss diet. If you can lose weight on a healthy and manageable plan then once you've hit your goal, it doesn't feel like you've got to jump back into eating and drinking everything you gave up. Create a diet you can live with permanently and you'll probably be more succesfull at a weight loss run that could last several months and sticking to it afterwards.

Also, when i read:
Quote :
" Easily 25 drinks I was still buzzed til noon monday. I weigh 165"

I don't think anyone can question your commitment to burning off the calories (which I imagine is about 2,700 calories), but I don't think you're taking into account the serious damage you can do to other vital organs with that kind of lifestyle. I know it sounds like an after school special, but if you're college days are behind you and you have to drink 20+ drinks to have a good time, you may want to reevaluate some lifestyle decisions so you're not driven to drink so much. If you're not willing to do it soon, you will eventually face a situation where you'll have to decide between excessive drinking and exercise or life. I've seen friends suffer from kidney failure and adult onset diabtetes, despite looking and feeling overall healthy. They just drank and ate like shit, and thought they could make up for it through exercise.

Are you guys trolling me? I just got back from dollar night and had 16 rum and diet cokes. I fucking hate diet coke but those are the kind of hard choices you have to make when youre committed to a diet.

And I dont give a fuck if I drop dead tomorrow. Jim Morrison and kurt cobain died at 27.

Today everyone should write down exactly what they eat and pay attention to portion sizes and throw it in a calorie counter. It will help you guys that are struggling to be able to see what you are consuming.

Yesterday for me was 1 lb chicken wings (good quality ones from fresh market not fast food), 1.1 lbs if 96% lean ground beef, 2 pieces fat free cheese, 20 oz skim milk, 2 scoops whey, 6 fish oil capsules, 3 tsp ketchup, and 15 rum and diets.

Notice the ultra low fat and low carb and high protein intake. This is how we get it right get it tight.

And I walked 4.5 miles for exercise.

ok i agree with that. i was talking more about the 3-4 beers everyday and more on the weekend kind of thing.

the point is to meet a goal by a specific time, like a vacation, event or something like that. i'm on a fairly aggressive calorie deficient diet in order to meet a goal by a specific time and then i'll go into a maintenance diet/excercise program.

Then why work out at all if you don't care. I guess it is because by getting fit, you apparently get to have more one night stands?

Face you should post a picture of your progress instead of just preaching to everyone.

I dont have a lot of one night stands I usually like to hit it 5-8 times.

Never understood why people are willing to work so hard to hook up with a girl once but not interested in a few more times at all. I mean I know a girl cant be two numbers I.e. #46 and #47 so I guess if youre trying to get to 50 or whatever as efficiently as possible you should move on quickly but still just seems wasteful.

^ lol. What are you talking about? You are the one posting that you hooked up with two girls in two night so I'm assuming one night stands. Regardless it is completely irrelevant to the thread.

Why don't you post some progress pictures before doling out advice for everyone? It'll at least give you some cred and keep everyone from calling you a troll constantly.

My progress lately has been mostly strength building. Ive posted my totals along the way. I dont look a ton different than last set of pics. Slightly more mass and fat.

Im about to attempt UD 2.0 so perhaps ill post after it if I have success.

Ive been stuck in my ways as far as lifting routines go (ABxABxx A-push B-pull). For schedule reasons, I'm looking for ideas on a routine that includes an off lifting day such as this:

AxBxC** where * can be anything.

Ive got access to a "pretty standard but a little more type" gym. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Upped my stubborn fat loss protocol to another intensity level today...

-10 Minutes for Rounds: Jump Rope x 75, Prowler Sled Sprint x 25 yards, Wall ball x 10, Prowler sprint x 25 yards. Got 3 rounds and gassed out with 50 seconds to spare.
-20 Minutes Steady State: Airdyne Bike.
-10 Minutes Intervals 30''(Max Effort)/90''(Recovery): Concept2 Rower.

Went on 4.8 mile bike ride today and yesterday afternoon. It's been a long time since I've been on my bike, and since I'm just out of shape in general uphills were a major challenge. I bike with my son, so that adds an extra 30-40 pounds to the bike. He's in one of those seats that attach behind mine, not in a cart, but I'm not sure how much the seat weighs. He weighs ~28-30 lbs (I think). My bike also sucks. It's a cheap 10 speed from Wal-Mart. If his seat could attach to my husband's bike it would be so much easier on those uphills as his is a much nicer 21 speed. Although I'm sure I would still get off to walk on a few like I have been

Tomorrow the kid has a class, so I'll do yoga again during his nap.

Been over my calorie limit by 100-200 calories these past two days since starting and using MyFitnessPal to keep track, but I think I'm off to a better start today and will end today either under or just at my calorie limit. w00t!

This week I'm weighing in daily, but next week I'll start weighing in once a week.

Good news dieters and tweakers. Bronkaid is back on the market I just picked up a 60 pack for $14.

Now you can drop fat without being miserable or losing muscle

did you take a dose that had 25mg of ephedrine and with 200 mg of caffeine?

Yes, ephedrine (25mg in 1 tab of bronkaid) causes the bronchioles to dilate.

Do you have to ask the pharmacist for it in NC? How weird is it to walk up there and ask?

There have actually been coupons out for Bronkaid so they're definitely promoting it. And I would love some more stimulants to go with my coffee. But I don't want to have to talk to a pharmacist about my asthma or whatever.

I have a problem with a business - that specifically targets individuals that are out of shape/overweight - having free cup cakes and pizza days. To me, it's a particularly troubling business practice. You shouldn't be undermining the goals that your customers are coming to you to achieve.

It's about venue and appropriateness. If you go to a company get together or a birthday party, you don't expect the event to be organized around your diet or weight loss goals. When you go to the gym, though, you don't expect to be tempted by the lowest tier of low quality foods by the staff that is supposed to be helping you achieve your goals.

Yeah don't add the aspirin the downside clearly outweighs the upside.

Begonias im sorry but youre body is either straight nuts or you didn't have ephedrine.

Ive done 8 balls of cocaine in a night. 37.5 ephedrine had me so wired I couldn't sit down.

My tolerance increased quickly but when I first started using it I was jacked up.

It can kill you so I like to take 1.5x the recommended dose immediately then add a pill one at a time every hour or so.

With stimulants you always wanna introduce them slowly.

It definitely affects me. Although, I can tell my tolerance to it has increased. Some people tend to respond less though.

In other news, hit a new low this morning... 162.3lbs! I am getting to the lower limit of where I want to be. Ideally I can maintain 165lbs the rest of summer while I focus on building up strength.

If things go according to plan, I'd like to compete in the 165lbs powerlifting class. However, that's all hot air right now until I actually register for a comp.

So I got a jar of ON Creatine in today. It mixes fairly well in milk and juice (mixes poorly in water), but I still hate drinking anything that is not completely dissolved. Do I actually need to go through with the loading phase with this stuff or can I just do 5 mg a day. Taking this 4-5 times while loading makes me want to

I'm pretty desensitized to stimulants - I drink about 3 cups of coffee (down from 6 a few years ago) and a few diet mtn dews most days of the week. It's almost 1:30pm now and I've already had 2 cups of coffee and almost half a 2 liter of diet dew. And I tried the ECA stack with both primatene and a generic version. Felt nothing. I'll forego the asprin this time and see if that changes anything. It's been years since I've had ephedrine, so maybe (hopefully) this time will be different.

Also - did my first WOD today at CF Brier Creek. It was definitely challenging, but suprisingly way more fun than I expected. Too bad it costs $Texas.

Disappointed that the guy who claimed he can do 27 pull-ups never came in and defended himself.

btw...I THINK I can do 20. I'm not sure, because I usually just do sets of 15...or a pyramid workout of pullups (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1). That pyramid pull-up workout is a lot fucking harder than it would seem.

You dont HAVE to load creatine but it will take quite awhile to reach saturation if you dont.

Id recommend taking 5mg pre workout and 5mg post workout for a few weeks and just once on non workout days

Thatll get you most of the benefits with less of the unpleasant side effects an wasted amount that doesn't go to stores.

Just remember you need to take it along with carbs or protein to absorb it. Not just straight water. And like you said it doesn't mix well anyway. I just dump it in my whey shakes personally.
