I refuse to believe that Meadows is the only person stupid enough, (or the only true believer left, take your pick) to take the job. No one in congress is so unsavvy as to think being Trump’s COS is a good career move.

Meadows needs to be close to Trump to help in Meadows coming criminal defense, or to earn a pardon, etc. It’s why Meadows has been one of the ring leaders insinuating Mueller has committed some sort of investigatory malpractice with no evidence and despite not being on any of the cmtes investigating. There is definitely more here.
