Its a Tec 22, they are a PISTOL. No place to attach a vertical fore grip on the factory spec models like mine, and perfectly legal so long as you do not buy one of the old clamp on folding stocks for them, thus making yourself a SBR.

Don't add a vertical grip to it either, as it then becomes a other than "....a firearm designed to be fired with one hand..."

Given that I have taken a gun smithing course in the past, that spent 4 weeks on gun law reviews. Given that I have no intention of ending up in federal prison, and given that I am selling a TEC 22, that, other than barrel, ENDS at the front of the magazine well.

All that said, my digital cam is broken, gonna see if the web cam can crank out a few shots of my tec 22 tonight. Looking for offers starting at $200. With higher offers will toss in the bag of higher velocity 22 ammo i purchased for this gun. Some cci, and some other HV ammo, all of it has cycled well in the gun.

^^ I know you're not really looking for a .22, but if you can find a Browning BL-22 I'd highly recommend it. Very fun, but it's going to cost ya.

How many firing pins have you broken?
Does it come with mags? If so, what make?

I am still using the firing pin that was in it when I got the gun, have had no issues with it.
Gun comes with 2 mags, 1 factory, 1 aftermarket. Both feed and eject clean for me.
Short mag is a Intratec branded magazine, black, I always load it with 25 rounds. Plastic feed lips.
long mag is a smoke transparent RamLine, plastic feed lips, 50 round.

This gun still had grease on the springs when I got it, it was used, had been fired, but had not had 100% of the factory grease removed.
I have followed the manual as far as ammo to feed, aka do not use hollow point Winchester, do not use non round nosed bullets aka conical, and do not use any Remington thunderbolt or most of the other Remington ammo. All other high velocity solid projectile ammo I have tried, both lead or jacketed, has fed fine.

I clean the magazines after use, and lubricate the 2 piece followers with a light gun oil before loading them. Bolt components and rod get a light coat of gun oil, no grease. Trigger components got a very very light bit of white lithium grease.

See below for a gun in well worn shape, finish destroyed then rattle canned, with hard case, with 1 aftermarket magazine, no factory magazines, going for $200 bid with 11.5 hours left to run

^^^^^ what do you mean lead or jacketed? as of right now NOBODY makes jacketed 22lr ammo. they do however make copper plated/washed 22lr. There is one company attempting to make them but it has been in progress for a year or two now

I call bullets with a copper or other wash or plating coat jacketed as that is how most of the sales literature and general public refers to it. Would you prefer that I say that all round nose, high velocity, 22L/22LR ammo I have used functions, however all HP ammo I have used has had major feeding issues?

I have a K31 in 7.5mm Swiss. Very flat shooter up to 200 yards iron sights, and with the straight pull bolt, easy to operate. Ammo is nearly gone, as in what was out there has been bought out. My vote would be for either the M44 and get the scope for it as the ammo is still, I hope, cheap.

Or a few more buck and get the M1 Garand. Can't kill 'em and there is plenty of 30-06.

SKS is a good bet for an auto, esp the yugo ones. X39 is getting a bit hard to find now though. I am currently talking to a guy who wants to buy 2 of my yugo's, they have had the cosmoline cleaned out and had 50 rounds each put down range, hopefully he buys pre xmas, would let me buy another toy for myself.

Fixed it for ya.

The SKS is a fine semi-auto for the money. I think they're mostly in the $250-$300 range now, but if you look harder you can get a better deal I'm sure. (Especially if you get a time machine)

If you want something with more power, a bolt action Mosin-Nagant are still less than $100 at gun shows. It will be old, and abused and you won't (probably) group very well, but it can be fun to shoot.

Toying around sounds more like a Ruger 10/22 to me. (or other semi auto .22) Hell of a lot cheaper to shoot too.

Depends on what you want, how much you want to spend, and how often you actually plan on shooting it.

this is the place I got mine. I got a nice hand picked M44 from them. But I also live 20 mins away from their store and got to pick it myself. But I'm sure you could call em and ask for a hand pick of any one of their rifles. http://www.tickbitesupply.com/firearms.html

that model looks like a fixed sight model, thus would not have factory tapped holes for a scope base rail, all of the adjustable sight models, aka hunter or target models, come stock with tapped holes and a weaver rail in the case with them.

I'll post some pics when i get some time tomorrow but ive put about 500 or so rounds through it with no jams and i clean it very well after every trip, its in great shape except for a smudge on the side from a box it was in, but i tossed the box since it was smudging the gun. This is the exact gun:

I also have a .22 mag over-under derringer if anybody would be more interested in that. I don't want to sell both but I'll sell either one.

the 22/45 strips more or less the same way that the mark 2/mark 3 does. There are videos online that show it step by step. Taking it apart is fast and easy, re-assembly has 1 tricky step that if done wrong forces you to break it back down and try again till you quit screwing up.

How to take the stock pistol down, then put it back together.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoaVe2z6cRo

See here for a $45 after market kit that lets you remove the bolt without removing the grip, and makes cleaning the gun MUCH faster.

Still looking for a good .22 auto rifle, maybe a bolt 22 or 17.

I found a Marlin 60 the other day in Garner for $60, but it was beat all to hell and a little to much for that rifle

You can easily reload ammo for the K31 though forever....and if nothing else it is a good excuse to get into reloading

Browning Gold Hunter 12 ga, 26" barrel, shoots 2 3/4" and 3" shells. Comes with 4 chokes Full, Mod, Imp cyl and 1 $$$ Browning Midas extended diffusion choke $$$.
The gun has had around 500 rounds through it, never been hunting with it and has never has any heavy loads through it. I used it only for sporting clays and skeet. Comes with a Browing soft cover as well.

This one is not mine but is very close.

I have a a Beretta 12 Ga 3901 Citizen MC3 with 26" barrel and Synthetic stock that I actually won at a Charity Banquet/Auction a couple years ago.

The gun has never been fired and is in the original box with all chokes, etc.

I have another almost just like it in a target model that I use so have never fired this one. Very nice gun.

Don't have to sell so won't take any lowball offers but would sell for reasonable offer. Comparable guns going between $700-800 on gunbroker.com.

Thanks for looking and let me know if you are interested.

Yeah their selection of mags has been pretty weak as of late. I had the order some for me- I got a good price on them (cheaper than I was finding on gunbroker.com), but they promised it would take 3 days, and it was over two weeks till they came in.

On a different note, has anyone been to Jim's recently? I'm in the market for a 357 revolver for carry and I had heard his stock was down pretty low. Also, anyone have anything they are I interested in selling?

I have a 10/22 ruger I'm selling.

I got it in september. It has a hogue overmold stock and a Green Mountain barrel as well as a Brunton 3-9x 40mm scope. The scope also comes with a free 1-year NRA magazine subscription offer that I haven't filled out yet. I also have the original stock and barrel if you ever want to switch it back. It's all pretty new. I've fired about 100 shots through the new barrel, but I haven't sighted the scope in yet. I'm selling it to help pay for corrective eye surgery. (decided I liked vision more than plinking stuff with my .22)

Anyway, below are the pics. Price is 150 firm. Oh, and I have 2 of the factory 10-shot magazines that go with it. (and a box of cheap federal ammo)

Please contact with PM's...thanks!
