The only time I ever lost my car, I found out that it had been towed out of my own parking lot with a valid permit showing.

If y'all think those ones about not being able to find your car are funny, check out this story.

Joe and I used to live in Sullivan and we were friends with this girl. She paid Valentine parking to park behind those houses across the railroad tracks, where the hole in the fence used to be. This was before they built that big ass valentine lot next to the parking deck.

So one day she goes to get her SUV and can't find it. She looks everywhere, calls the tow people, calls the cops, reports it stolen. It never turns up, so she gets insurance money for it; and goes to buy a new car.

The same thing happens a few months later. This time she calls the tow company and they have her car. So she goes to pick it up, and what do you know, she finds her old "stolen" SUV and her new car, both chillin in the tow lot.
