Yeah, but was it a duo tone with a holster and 50 rounds of FMJ and 100 rounds of JHP?

Kinda off the topic of ammo swap, but really funny and too so not to share:

To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in
Downtown Savannah night before last.
Date: 2009-03-23, 3:43AM EST

I was the guy with the black Burberry jacket that you demanded I
hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend.
You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings.

I hope you somehow come across this message. I'd like to apologize.
I didn't expect you to crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after
you took my jacket. Truth is, I was wearing the jacket for a reason that
evening, and it wasn't that cold outside.

You see, my girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45
ACP pistol for Christmas, and we had just picked up a shoulder holster
for it that evening. Beautiful pistol, eh?

It's a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, isn't it? I
know it probably wasn't a great deal of fun walking back to wherever
you'd come from with that brown sludge flopping about in your pants.
I'm sure it was even worse since you also ended up leaving your shoes,
cellphone, and wallet with me. I couldn't have you calling up any of your
buddies to come help you try to mug us again.

I took the liberty of calling your mother, or "Momma" as you had her listed
in your cell, and explaining to her your situation. I also bought myself and
four other people in the gas station this morning a tank full of gas on your
credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was
extremely grateful! I gave your shoes to one of the homeless guys over
by Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all of the cash in your wallet.

I threw the wallet in a fancy pink "pimp mobile" parked at the curb after I
broke the windshield and side window out and keyed the drivers side. I
called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cellphone. They'll be on
your bill in case you'd like to know which ones. Ma Bell just shut down
the line, and I've only had the phone for a little over a day now, so I don't
know what's going on with that. I hope they haven't permanently cut off
your service.

I could only get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one
to the FBI with it. The FBI guy was really pissed and we had a long chat
(I guess while he traced the number).

I'd also like to apologize for not killing you and instead making you walk back
home humiliated. I'm hoping that you'll reconsider your choice of path in life.
Next time you might not be so lucky..
- Alex

so which is it? "just over $200" != "right at $250"
iirc, he sold it for 250, so um, that's not a whole lot different.

^6 My only pistol at the moment is a 1911 (Springfield stainless loaded, match bushing, trigger job). Sweet pistol--I love 1911s...but for a tactical pistol, I'd prefer something else for sure (like my old SIG P226). The 1911 is reliable as long as you feed it ammo that it likes, but I don't have 100% confidence that it will never, ever fail to go boom when I squeeze the trigger the way I did with, say, my SIG. Plus, it only holds half as much ammo.

^ yeah, i'd be interested in buying one if that's the case.

About the guy talking about pulling his 1911 I call bull shit! First of he says it was in a shoulder rig. Well then he says he pulled the gun after the would be mugger took his jacket. I find it hard to believe that if I’m close enough to threaten you with a knife then take your jacket that I would not see a shoulder holster and gun over your shirt… after all apparently the jacket was in the muggers hand when the 1911 was drawn. Just an unusual sequence of events, sounds out of order.

To add to the pissing contest. I bought the Bersa from Fumbler. It looked brand new came with the extras all for 250 and was worth the low cost he charged me. But then again i'm not a poor little bitch like WD who likely lies about his purchases and changes the prices he says he paid based on the argument. WD if you got the gun plus extras for $10 less than me. Congrats you got a deal but your still a cheap dick who has nothing more to do in life than heckle a man who is only asking for a fair price on his belongings. It's was worth my extra $10 to do business with him rather than a tool like you. Thanks fumbler. Pleasure doing business.

You might wanna be more specific about which parts, there's quite a bit of them. I don't know which shops around Raleigh sell them, but your best bet if you want to stay around the Raleigh area is the next gun show for a hell of a lot more variety in front of you.

they aren't black talons, no teflon coating stuff, sxt is just the same bullet withouth the good stuff, black talons haven't been made for about 10 years or so I thought.

Your are right about Lawman's and Gold Dot. When they had it, the Speer GD in .357 sig was the best price in town. But that is not +p+.

As far as the Black Talon, they changed the name after for NY Sen Patrick Moynahan got on the Sunday talk shows and the floor of the senate and read the add for it as schredder. It became SXT.

On a lighter note, one of my 3-run buds has a brother in R/D for Olin ind. They were going to call it "Black Death". I would have loved to send an empty carton to Maxine "The Mouth" Waters.

The box says, "Ranger, SXT Controlled Expansion 9mm Luger +P+"

I checked Gunbroker http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=129590229#PIC

and the STX +P+ is $084 per round if you buy 500 at $419.00. The part numbers don't quite match RA9TA vs RA9SXTP

I have 9mm lead ball, 115 gr for sale. It is remanufactured ammo from 3-D Inv Doniphan, NE. I discovered that my P7-M13 couldn't handle the lead ball and I put it in GI cans and forgot about it. It has been stored cool and dry. I have never had a failure with this stuff.

7.50 per box of 50.

Yeah.....

I wouldn't put that crap through a Glock or H&K (Or any other polygon son) unless you can clean dat bbl after dumping every mag or two. Otherwise you're gonna have a problem son.

Plus, the shit's reloaded by some random fuck and you can't trust it son. I wouldn't shoot that shit through anything other than a Hi-point. Hell, even then I'd be nervous about it.

I have run plenty of reloads (Lancer) through my Sigs and never had any problems. I agree that I would not buy reloads from most backyard guys but any of the large reman places have very good equipment and stand behind their product. The Georgia Arms stuff seems to be very dirty but that isnt really a problem either with my stainless Redhawk. For plinking it is a great option.

I understand your comment about reman ammo. However, this company 3-D, had formed out in Nebraska to take advantage of some high speed reloading gear. Their tooling and QC was the same as everyone else's. It is good stuff, just more cleaning required.

1300 rounds in boxes of 50, FOB.$7.50 ea.
