Yeah it's not new or real, but it's still funny. Also, Stone Cold is probably more liberal (notice I'm not calling him a liberal) than many of his fans think he is. He is pro-gay marriage and has come out in favor of tougher background checks for gun buyers.

I'm 44 and haven't cared about pro wrestling since I was about 6 or 7 years old and learned it was fake, but even I took the time to watch this. My dad was nice enough to take me to pro wrestling at Dorton Arena once when I was in Kindergarten. Brings back memories.

I went to the Rialto screening for that, lot of wrestlers (Hurricane Helms, CW Anderson, etc) were in attendance as well. I'm a sucker for anything Dorton related, throw wrestling on top of that and it was a no brainer to go to the opening showing. I know the Dorton history/building piece probably wasn't terribly exciting for the "I only care about rasslin" folks, but I thought it was cool as fuck.

TKO is all about the bottom line. Attendance is down and they have acquired some free agents on big money deals. The move to Netflix has been a disaster as Raw's viewership numbers are awful. The roster is too big and TKO is trying to do what WWE did in the Monday Night Wars, buy all the major promotions eliminating competition so they can control the salaries and pay the talent less.

It may backfire R-Truth was very well liked by everyone, he has been in industry a long time and has been willing to do anything. Carlito is also out, The Miz is reportedly next. Gunther wants out now as well.
