The wound created from the sword brought to the surface Azerite which was found to create powerful weapons. With the Legion dealt with, Sylvanas concludes that the Alliance will eventually attack the Horde and that having Teldrassil so close is a significant threat. The next step in battling the Alliance is to have a large fleet of ships, so they allied with the Zandalari trolls while the Alliance, with the help of Jaina, renewed ties with Kul Tiras.

They did/have been investigating the wound and the sword. The pre-patch quests and the quest where you relinquish your characters artifact weapon touch on it. Magni, the Cenarion Circle, and one other group I can’t remember the name of have been investigating it and the Azerite. Magni mentions this in the pre-patch quests I believe and it’s described some in the Warcraft novel that came out right before the expansion (Before the Storm).

I’ve been super happy with the expansion so far but I do wish they hadn’t glossed over some of the lore details, unless you read the novel. Little more detail in game would have been nice.

I like to watch twitch when im not watching sports and everyone is gonna be streaming this shit when it comes out. Its fun to watch for about an hour and then gets boring as hell.

Moved to Skertam (sp?). Also remoted in from work to get in the queue so I wasn’t waiting for 5 hours when I got home.

I kept my horde on Herod. Started playing alliance on kurinnaxx when the queue is too much to bear. We will see what happens when transfer season starts.

It has to ebb and flow along the way to 60 if you're not no-lifeing it. Seems perfectly natural to put it aside for a bit and then come back (or not).
