I've got 300 rounds of .223 and 100 rounds of 9mm for sale in Garner if any one needs some reasonably priced ammo. PM me if interested. (Additional note: I'm not at home right now so this is posted off the top of my head and the bullet weights may be wrong but I'm 99% sure that they are correct).

.223
2x 100 round boxes of Federal 55grain FMJ for $45 each, $85 for both.
6x 20 round boxes of Remington UMC 55 grain FMJ for $11 box/$10 box if you buy 5 or 6 boxes.

9mm Luger/Para
2x 50 round boxes of Blazer Brass 115 grain (I think) FMJ for $10 each

no, not technically. You had to be en route to the private weapons range or to hunt.

So, daily? No.

No problem! I have two (same age). I bought two thinking I would carry one and modify the other as a project gun. Money and time aside I never got around to it. Great gun, just now dont need two.

I don't want to "low ball" you on the #2, but do you know the year that gun was made? When was the spring last replaced?

$400 pending inspection

The second Sig is between 1993 and 1996. It's one of the older ones with stamped and welded slides.

[Edited on June 16, 2009 at 11:47 AM. Reason : If you really want to know, they have date codes on the recoil rod cover of the slide]

Sig P226 #2 did not make it to the gun show this weekend. I did trade the grips out for a set of hogues. The pistol has factory sights, 3 factory 15 round mags and a new recoil spring.

First $425 takes it.

I have an RCBS single stage loader, powder scale and hopper for sale in excellent condition for $80. I will also sell a 3 piece 9mm die set for $20.

if you can find primers, you can load 9mm, using your own brass, for 130/1000, using 130 grain plated bullets, thus being able to make glock safe ammo. With cast led/prelubed bullets your cost can be as cheap as $100 per thousand. That means you can make this press pay for itself in 2,000 rounds, much less if you load up some HP ammo for self defense loads.

I've got a Thompson Center Encore I'm thinking of selling. What do you guys think, should I sell it as:

1) the receiver and the black-powder barrel, 270 barrel separate
2) the receiver and the .270 barrel, black-powder separate
3) the receiver alone and each barrel separate

The receiver is the serialized item and has to be sold through and FFL no matter which barrel is attached.

he is saying that the receiver is considered a gun, in that item even if it has a black powder barrel, as it can be a non muzzle loader as well. not that it requires an FFL to transfer, unless it is across state lines, or jsut for her personal peace of mind.

i understand the serial number stuff

just wondering why he needs a FFL. doesn't look like he knows that he's selling it across state lines if he doesn't even know how he's selling it.

I live in Alabama so I usually sell on Gunbroker, thus I do need to ship to an FFL.

I'd probably start the bidding for the barrel and receiver at $500, either combination. I'd start at $100 for the other barrel.

I've also got Leupold scopes that I'll be selling off both as well.

yup. It is hard to tell where to start the bidding. I sold a Kahr PM9 in under 30 minutes on Gunbroker last month. I started at $450 with a buy now of $550 and it went like nobody's business.

I'm selling these because I want to consolidate my hunting gear into one bow and a Savage 99 in .308 I don't need a blackpowder gun, especially a modern one which defeats the purpose, just to squeeze a few extra weeks that I could spend bow-hunting anyway.

Is that Encore a pistol receiver or a rifle receiver?

BTW, if anyone's looking for a Sig 225 or 226, then Lawmen's has police trades-ins for $300 and $325 respectively.
I bought the best looking 225, the other two they had were worn out.
The 226s were pretty decent condition.

Rifle.

Although, looking at both, I don't know why you couldn't just change the stock and attach a small barrel to accomplish the same thing.

There's no difference between the two except one says pistol and one says rifle.
They use the same stocks and barrels.

Like kyle said, it's ATF BS. Once a long gun, always a long gun. Putting a pistol grip and barrel on it turns it into a short barreled rifle, which requires the fed tax stamp.

the best way to stay healthy and happy if you have any SBR items, or any pistols and rifles with parts that match is to make them NOT interchange at ALL. You do not want any set of parts that can be assembled with hand tools, that will yield an item requiring tax stamp that is not already in your name with a tax stamp on hand. Having pistol barrels that are 10 inches long for your bench gun is great, but don't buy ones that will also fit that nice stocked action in the other case, or you may be in for a ride with no lube.

Reduced the price for the Kel Tec P3AT .380 to 245.00 since that was what a local vendor offered me but I would rather have someone get it that wants it versus the markup a retailer would get reselling it.

Same goes as above post about condition, etc, and must have a CCW or Permit to buy.

$245 would be a nice price for a P3AT.

Too bad I bought one a couple weeks ago and just got an LCP two days ago.

You should try listing it on http://www.thehighroad.org
You could probably list it for your original asking price and still sell it quickly.
