finally doing the main questline.

the first fight with alduin glitched, and got frozen in the air, after using the dragonrend once. just went into like super slow motion, still flapping wings, but at about 0.05% normal pace, and not moving. so i just shot him till he was almost dead, the he landed and was still in slow motion, and finished off..

felt kinda cheap. reloaded, and it did it twice more.

^^I have no issues with people playing the game below Master difficulty. Play what is fun to you. The issue I have is when people brag about a terrible build being so overpowered . . . on default difficulty.

i haven't looked in awhile but any recent news on DLC/expansion packs? i want to play so much more but i've gotten bored. i'm just about done with my 2nd playthrough but i'm having trouble getting motivated to finish haha.

this time i also killed the Dark Brotherhood chick which got me the quest to wipe out the entire DB. was pretty cool actually lol.

Picked up my 5th thane title on my 1st play though. May start working on the main quest line at some point. Playing as a cat assassin, I am finding that as long as i stay hidden it feel extremely op, and then screw up, get spotted, and have face melted by a caster and realize its actually quit balanced.

Next play though i am thinking of going heavy armored, 2 handed summoner. Any ideas on how that will work out for me

yeah. instead of killing 1 of the 3 in the shed just start attacking the girl and kill her. then when she is dead you will be prompted to visit a major city and inform the guards. eventually you'll be tasked with killing the entire DB.

No, it doesn't. I was assuming this was from new DLC that could have been improved. Maybe an in-game cinematic?

It could go either way honestly. The edges aren't as sharp as I thought.

Is there really an advantage to a 2 handed summoner? I find that even with 1 hand summoning, all enemies are killed or my daedra is dead before his cast is over. Even if the cast expires with all the proper perks re-casting is not that big of a deal.

Agreed. Dual-Casting for longer duration is fucking lame. Essentially everything to do with magic in this game is fucking lame. I can only play a magic user with extensive add-ons. Haven't played the latest patch with the magic kill animations though.

well, just finished it. end battle was a little anti-climatic. first time I finished an elder scrolls game. i think the - ahem - streamlining, shall we call it? - for consoles made it a more manageable experience. the others were so damn big I got lost when I took breaks from the game.

But in other news, today they implemented mounted combat in the PC beta patch, to be released in the 1.6 patch soon

After perusing this thread last night, I opted for the beta on my pc (which I didn't know about since I took a hiatus from the game around Feb.). It's pretty cool watching my arrows pwn people off of cliffs and buildings. I'm holding off on completing the main quest right now because at this point I'm required to kill Paarthurnax (sp) and I don't want to until I learn where all the words of power are from the Greybeards. I have 18 so far. I guess I'll piss them off and do the Blades line of quests after I get the 'learn 20 shouts' achievement.

So completed the Blades quest line. What the hell after 6 missions i go from outsider to sole champion and leader of the blades.

I feel like a lot of teh questlines that basically slapped together in a big rush to get the game out. In Oblivion the faction quests spanned multiple guilds in different cities with about as many quests per city as the entire questline has for Skyrim.
