Snowpiercer is a really good flick if you like action or post-apocalyptic type films like equilibrium or the matrix. It was a good watch from beginning to end.

In a world was good. Lots of celebs in that one.

Liberal Arts was a decent watch.

watched Wolf of Wall Street. Was entertained.

Watching Bojack Horseman right now. Its not overly funny, however I am entertained enough to want to keep watching it. Theres atleast one comment each episode that makes me laugh pretty good.

can we talk about the Quaalude OD scene? That was incredible. I don't think I've seen such a masterfully shot/directed/acted scene in any movie in a long time. And you can't convince me that neither of them were actually on something - nobody can act that well.

I also saw Mystic River the other night. I really enjoyed it. But the very last scene (where Laura Linney tells Sean Penn that he could "rule this town") made me think they were alluding to a sequel (or that this movie was the prequel) to some sort of other Sean Penn mob movie. I looked it up and couldn't find anything. That scene just struck me because up until then that hadn't really been a prominent theme of the movie.

I watched "Liberal Arts" as well. It was a nice watch, but no real take-aways and nothing groundbreaking. I enjoyed the acting though.

Saw that last week. Was not impressed or enthralled. The only scene worth watching was the one with the guy in the trunk on his buddy's property.

No comedy makes me smile more than The Burbs.

Bruce Dern is so damn funny in it.

Recommended.

you got to watch this during first week of march right?

30 for 30: Survive and Advance

In 1983, the NC State Wolfpack, coached by Jim Valvano, stayed alive in the postseason by winning nine do-or-die games in a row -- seven of which they were losing in the final minute -- beating the likes of Michael Jordan and three-time National Player of the Year Ralph Sampson.

BBC Comedy: Peep Show.

6 seasons but they're like 6 episodes per season so it flies by. Hilarious and all shot from a 1st person perspective.

I've probably watched this movie 20 times and it's been on there forever but...

The Hunt for Red October.

Also, Field of Lost Shoes was pretty decent as was 30 for 30: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks.

i wish i had seen the commentary in this thread re: Dear Zachary, i just might have avoided it.

i saw a review on one of those "must watch" blogs, that said great movie/documentary, but a tearjerker.

i was all, yeah i'll give this a shot, i like great movies, and while i'm a tough guy, i've got enough compassion to "get it" during emotional scenes. but no way it really makes my cry or anything...

HOLY SHIT. this move broke me. i cried. it really was a well done movie. just... yeah. such a tragedy...
