I'm sure I'd love all the other games 360 offers, but at $60/pop--I'm afraid my money will need to go elsewhere.

The 360 controller is NOT wireless, people. Get that into your thick skulls...

The extra $10 will be worth it, since I'm sure they won't charge you the full $50 for the GH 1 songs...
I imagine those will cost $10-$15 on XBLM

I thought I read that the reason it wasn't wireless is because MS is very proprietary about its wireless technology. this is why you haven't seen a lot of 3rd party wireless controllers.

There IS a rumor that Red Octane is talking with MS about releasing a wireless controller (as an extra accessory, not with the game). But again, they would have to get the wireless tech from MS first.


I think downloadable content more than makes up for no wireless controller.
Especially since they have said "GHII for 360 will have more downloadable content than any other game to date."

Maybe we will be able to download the GH: 80s Edition songs?

haha, the news today is that a guitar remix of the halo 2 theme will be included in the dlc for the 360 version.

they have a demo of the 360 version at the best buy at CrabTree. The Controller feels REALLY small and im pretty sure the fret buttons are smaller too. I was having a hard time getting used to it but im sure if you put in some time anyone could adapt. I wouldnt be suprised if they come out with another guitar later on that is a little bigger, especially if they release a wireless one later on down the road.

and if you are really going to buy a 360 just for this, buy a PS2 - for the price of a 360 you can get a PS2, GH1, GH2 and a second guitar

I have a couple of friends that already have the PS2 version.

And I have planned on eventually getting a 360 since they came out, I'm saying that this may be the game that will finally drive me to get one. If it wasn't this, it would be Halo 3.

My friend's 360 has bad overheating/freezing problems...this could be a localized problem, but I'm not sure. Other than its heat output, the 360 seems to be very well designed and easy to navigate.

next week best buy is running a deal where you get a $50 gift card if you buy a 360 premium and at least $150 in games/accessories. so, this and one other game/guitar/live package would cover it.

I'm probably still gonna wait for a price drop on the system, but I'm considering it
