it's possible that it took a little while to fully sink in what I was watching. But I think it's his lines this season that I'm finding funny as shit. Plus every time his midget Indian sidekick is on screen I laugh automatically.

I definitely liked Season 1 better, the supporting cast was worlds better than in season 2 (Craig Robinson, John Hawkes, Ben Best, Will Ferrell, etc.)...the only supporting character in the second season that makes me laugh is Michael Peña.

The show got instantly better when he was surrounded by the original cast.

I love the interactions with his brother and family, and Clegg is always great too.

You know, I didnt love this season much, either.

If you think about it, they spent an entire season to have him land up about where he wanted to be at the end of last season. Its pretty the same story as season one, just remixed for season 2, with a slightly rosier ending, although you really dont know how he is going to do.

This season had it moments of fun, however.

I think not having the supporting cast from S1 was mostly due to not having the series immediately renewed for the second season. Perhaps some of the actors were not able to commit to another season due to other projects, not really sure.

Either way, I hope we will see them more since it's already renewed for a third season, and I really hope Myrtle Beach remains a setting for it (or a good amount).
