^ I figure the last episode of this "half-season" will end with either Walt offing Skyler or Hank coming to the realization that it is Walt. It will probably happen closer to the end though (three or four episodes into next year?) 8/13/2012 3:47:55 PM |

Actually, one thing that no one has mentioned.
When the truck pulled up, the window rolled down and then the white guy asked the native american if he "knew anything about engines", was that intentional humor? cause i laughed, a lot. 8/13/2012 5:23:56 PM |

but if you ride your bike around the desert with a mason jar in your pocket looking to catch a big spider, i guess i'd assume he would've put air holes in the lid 8/13/2012 10:12:39 PM |

One thing I just thought of and maybe it has already been discussed but...
Maybe the flashforward we saw at the start of this season isn't really one year in the future. Yes Walt did the bacon thing but maybe that is because he knew it was the birthday of his false identity and that made him think about his birthday.
I know it is a stretch (his hair, no wedding ring, etc... all that signify time) but what made me think about it is that the license he showed the waitress said it was his birthday. What sort of criminal mastermind develops a fake identity and then includes real details of his life? 8/14/2012 7:28:34 PM |

I think Skylar's fear of harm coming to the kids will be realized not only bc of how deep they are getting, but also bc now we know Todd would kill a kid without hesitation to keep things between them. I suspect Flynn will see something that puts him in the crosshairs, bringing this whole thing down on Walt and him running. 8/15/2012 8:37:42 AM |

My wife caught a good foreshadowing moment. It happened when Skylar asked, "were you burying dead bodies". Now it looks like they have to bury the boy.
Also, I forgot about the first scene of the new season. Wonder how it ends up that Walt has hair and is in a random denny's. 8/15/2012 6:43:38 PM |

Yea, you have to speculate on why Walt left Gretchen and Gray Matter behind. What happened in those years? Obviously his pride had something to do with it.
The episode is Peekabo from season 2. It also has a pretty funny story for Jessie.

I'm pretty sure Walt was with whatshername, but then she cheated on him with the third founder whatshisname, so Walt left after that betrayal from both of them. 8/21/2012 8:17:35 AM |

Thanks. I've watched the series as its gone on and haven't ever gone back to watch the seasons again so I some times forget stuff like that.
I think in the next episode, Walt offers to distribute his meth only to those other guys, essentially removing that as a threat for them. In doing so, he gets 10 Million up front for "expenses" and that becomes the buy out for Jesse and Mike. Even though Walt won't let Jesse leave. 8/21/2012 9:01:33 AM |

^^ It could have been something like that but it seems to me that she was in love with Walt. I wonder if they'll ever explain it fully. I'm thinking he wanted all the glory to himself but something happened after he left them that kept him from doing that. 8/21/2012 9:21:20 AM |
