And, a couple of days ago, spotted a Qvale Mangusta of all things, on North Boulevard in Richmond. It was headed in the opposite direction, so I couldn't get a photo, but that's one I never expected to see. 1 of 284 ever built, and some were sold in Europe. A rare bird for sure.

Come to VIR! No fewer than 2 GT4s, several Cayman Rs and 4 991 GT3s, as well as many, many others including a GT350R. Should’ve pictorized these, my bad.

^^probably not, but Porsche only build 1000 GT4s for this year, and I don't think they've confirmed extending production of it for next year. So it's a rare bird that's for sure (that's 1000 worldwide).

i'm pretty sure it was a GT4 unless someone bought a brand new cayman (30 day tags) and put a spoiler and GT4 badges on it

the car with it had the long overhanging camera mount on the roof, so it may have been a photoshoot

I one time went to Carb Day at the Indy 500 and in front of me were two of the then-new Ford GTs in tandem parking.

Went to the 2004 U.S. Grand Prix and was parked in a person's backyard next to a Ferrari.

Finally went to the Ferrari showroom to get a close look at the FXX K Evo (yes, it was an Evo!), and it was gone.

I saw it daily for the past couple of weeks on my morning and evening commute (on bus). Finally went today with my daughter (she's gotten into cars lately), and they said it was a customer car and he took it today.

They said he takes it to tracks in Europe to drive, as there are no race tracks here where I am.

Got a close look at several other Ferraris (8), as well as the lounge with all the upholstery, paint, seat, ceramic brakes, and other parts/samples for personalization. Took a lot of pics, of course.

But missed the 1 of 40 FXX K... pretty much 0% chance of ever seeing it again (unless he keeps it there again).

Just returned from a 2.5 week vacation to Japan. Wife and I stayed mostly around the Tokyo area, hopping from district to district. Roppongi was definitely a car haven of exotics. Saw a bit of everything. Lotus Europa, various Ferrari models (F488, F599, etc), an older Aston Martin V8, Evo 5, Evo 8, 1 of 62 US market Toyota 2000GT on loan for display in Toyota's Mega Web Showroom, KPGC10 GTR (First Gen GTR), Multiple Aventadors (different colors), Lamborghini Urus, several Rolls Royces and Maseratis of various flavors, just to name a few of what I saw... It was amazing.














I spoiled myself and rented a Ferrari 355 GTS for a day and drove it around a few Touge roads. What a car. What an experience. It was awesome to drive a gated shifter, left hand drive vehicle in Japan. Would do again.
