a friend was taking me for a ride in his 800hp procharged camaro (ill have to post some video later)..
followed this brand new Lamborghini Huracan from my parents house to where he lived (didn't mean to follow the guy home but he lived so close)
took this pic creeper style (notice the isf in the garage..) really wish I had a video of the sounds that thing made when he downshifted, we both almost shit ourselves.

Has he blacked out the taillights? If so, that had ruined the back.

?

All you can see is brick facade, 3 car garage, and what looks like a pretty nice rear deck/porch.

Even if it is an "average" house, that's exactly what I'd do if I was making loot. Average house, kickass cars!

That's what I'd do too, just giving 0EPII1 a legit reason to hate it.

But I'd buy a bunch of cheaper cars, and mod the hell out of them.

Twin turbo, LS swap miata's etc.

its definitely a different experience than a modded cheaper car though...the interior on one of those and the sounds of the v10..

..when we drove by the house I said to my friend "that can't be where he lives..seems small"
then we saw the house from the other side its pretty damn huge.

Edit: i was so amazed to see a lambo in the neighborhood I forgot to mention that on this short trip we also saw a Jaguar f-type coupe and a gt-r
..everyone took advantage of the nice weather to take their cars out i guess

That's debatable. I for one have no interest in having a bunch of kids, so I'll be just fine in a smallish house with a nice garage setup. Big house ==more to clean.

NO WAY that’s a real 57 anything.

Notes on exotic vs. self built. A lot of exotic cars have gotten (maybe always have been to a degree) ridiculous with design, and over complications of different systems... However, there’s something to be said for a total package that was designed from the beginning to be something. My notes on the 240 thread reflect this, even if it’s at times tongue in cheek. You can do a lot with ingenuity and on a budget, but there’s also a lot you can’t do when you have limited resources. Your “project” may be better than an expensive platform at a handful of things, it’s unlikely to be good at all of them. The old adage “fast, reliable, cheap, pick any two” comes to mind.

Also, did you guys really follow some dude home all the while taking pictures!!? I evade people like that, personally. Very uncomfortable, jeez.

House size, I’m w/black g. Large houses suck, a lot to clean, a lot to keep up. Also more expensive to heat and cool, and maintain and... I’m not really sure why people go for larger houses as they have more means. But, I’m not looking to make 15 kids either. I guess if I had offspring, I’d want them as far from me as possible.

Bentley Turbo R has roughly 360 hp from it's turbocharged V8. Still, it's a heavy SOB, weighing over 5000lbs.

I much prefer the newer version of that, the Arnage, specifically the sporty version Arnage T... watch Jeremy Clarkson going sideways in that 5,500 lb beast:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAqaGwwHlfM

The performance specs are pretty crazy for a car that weighs 2.5 metric tons!

493 hp
738 lb-ft
0-60 in 5.2 sec
Max speed 180 mph
1/4 mile in < 14 sec

LOL, it was also at some time the fastest sedan in the world because all the AMGs and Ms had 155 mph limiters

This is a review of the first iteration of the Arnage T, which was slightly less powerful and less quick than the figures above, which are for the last iteration:

Does this count? Not an exotic in its home country, but here, definitely:

Nissan Cefiro, A31 generation (1989 or 1990). Right-hand drive JDM model. Very closely related to the R32 Skyline GTS-t and GTS-4, most likely AWD and with the RB20DET motor. Completely random find for a side street in Richmond, but there it was, wearing fresh tags, just eligible for the 25-year import rule.

Very close, Museum District. This one was just down the block from St. Benedict's school.

Now that's something I didn't know. And evidently they were the importer of this very Cefiro:
http://www.japaneseclassicsllc.com/1988-nissan-cefiro-rb25det-5-mt-lightly-modified-12995.html

RB25DET (which I think must be a swap from a newer car, as far as I can tell that engine was not available in the A31 Cefiro or in anything from 1988) and it's an '88.

So, so many interesting cars in their listings. Wow.

2 C6 Corvette ZR1's
3 C7 Corvette Z-06's
2 Porsche 991 GT3's

I felt a bit outclassed in my '98 M3 on street tires heh. Kept up reasonably well considering though. Passed one of the C7 Z-06's fair and square because he was being a wimp since the car was so new

^Love the tag.

Saw a BMW i8 in Richmond today, leaving Hardywood Brewery. Didn't get a photo, partly because I was driving, partly because I was pretty floored to see one in the metal. Like the hybrid sports car concept or not, it's a very striking machine.

Never noticed it before, but I'm pretty sure the rear tail lights on that Pantera are the same ones found on the late 80s-90s Bentley Turbo R.

Not exotic at all, but relevant given that I saw an i8 on Saturday - saw an i3 today. Both i-series BMWs in three days is kind of unusual given that I'd never seen either one in person before.

There is a white one of those downtown. I'm assuming the owner lives at the Bloomsbury as it's always parked there... Under the trees, in the rain, by the drunks, etc

Sorry. If I pay $150k for a car I'll at least try to rent a space in the covered parking.
