I have a sig 226 I just bought WITH brand new fresh installed tritium sights, and 3 mags, and a belt slide holster, it was 400 cash. my other 226 was less due to not having night sights installed, but it had more stuff with it/better trigger. So why pay 500 for a used gun? 4/12/2010 5:40:26 PM |

Posting for a friend...the $400 is firm
"I have a S&W M&P9c for sale for $400. The tax man cometh, so no trades. It has standard sights, 4 mags, factory box, all grip inserts, pocket holster and a hogue handall. There are no blemishes on this gun and it shoots perfectly. Very accurate little gun. It looks like the standard M&P9c, nothing different except the handall. No manual safety, and no magazine disconnect. I am located in Raleigh. Must have CCW permit and valid ID. If you are interested, email dsking85@gmail.com" 4/15/2010 1:08:44 AM |

looking a 9mm or shotgun in the $200 range
anyone have anything? for basic home defense and the occasional shooting range trips.
an .22 mayyyy work but rather have a 9mm 4/15/2010 4:17:29 PM |
NeuseRvrRat hello Mr. NSA! 35376 Posts user info edit post |
here's my two cents.
there's not a $200 9mm around that i would trust my life to. a shotgun is better than a handgun for home defense anyway and you can get one that will work fine for HD for about $200.
get a 12 gauge pump and be done
just some friendly advice.
[Edited on April 15, 2010 at 4:23 PM. Reason : are you saying a .22 may work for HD or the range? b/c it won't work for HD. at all.] 4/15/2010 4:23:21 PM |

no def. for the range
My dad has lots of handguns ive shot many many many times...I just want something for basic HD.
a 9mm CAN be used if you are a decent shot. Not necessarily at the $200 range im just asking if anyone has anything for sale. I am simply stating that is my price range, I can do more or in fact less.
I have a 12 gauge by the way back home I can bring up at any time...Im just checking what is in Raleigh.

For Sale: Romanian GP WASR-10 AK-47 type rifle
Comes with: • 60 Rounds of Wolf 124GR FMJ 7.62x39 ammunition • 10 Rounds of Winchester SuperX CXP2 123gr SP 7.62x39 ammunition • Two 30-round magazines • Bayonet (not matching serial number to gun) • Cleaning kit in stock • Sling • Manual
Condition: Used, in good shape. Some wear and a couple of light scratches. I have cleaned and oiled it (not that that's necessary for an AK to function) and the working parts are clean.

I think you could probably find a good, reliable 9mm for $200 on the used market. Hell, I bought a SIG P226 (with major holster wear) for $275 one time.
However, there isn't a 9mm at any price that I'd trust over a run-of-the-mill 12-gauge for home defense. The only advantage of the handgun is the ease of transport and concealment.4/24/2010 3:38:41 PM |

Hi Point 9mm Carbine for sale. Has the ATI stock on it. No open sights, has a BSA BZ2.5x20 Short scope on it. Comes with 3 factory 10rd mags, and 2 ProMag 15rounders.

The scope did not come with the gun (actually it came with the gun when I purchased it, but not from the factory). A cheap red dot would be the ticket, the scope works but needs a longer eye relief than the short stock offers comfortably. 4/28/2010 7:53:26 PM |

by "in that case" i meant in the case of you having the original butt stock
but i'll take a case with it if you wanna include it
btw i'm having trouble finding that stock bolt, but i'm guessing one from an ithaca 37 would work, right?

Oh, I see what you meant now. The case isn't anything special (it's the one shown in the picture), but I'll include it.
I believe this gun is a clone of the ithaca 37. So I would assume that bolt should work, but I'm not positive. 5/11/2010 11:03:39 AM |

^good luck trying to sell that here... I'm not trying to be an ass, but I'm not sure anyone would give you even $150 for it. Norincos are known to be cheap, Chinese Ithaca knockoffs. Not to mention, your stock bolt is missing and you can get a brand new Mossy or Remington for $200.... just saying... 5/12/2010 11:47:26 AM |

ok, i guess i should have been more clear. i know they are legal because my friend has one, however his barrel is much longer than this. the picture looks as though the barrel is less than 16" making it an sbr needing at class 3 permit which i know you all ready know.
good thing you added 1 more post to your obviously exciting life of 23,809 posts wdprice3. i am glad i put that question out there so you could make such a troll comment.

Only rifles and shotguns are required to have over 16" barrels. This is the pistol version which does not have a stock, thus does not fall under the requirement. 5/17/2010 3:08:53 PM |
