So of our 14 starters that were seniors or entered the draft early (Hines, Richardson), 7 were drafted and 5 were signed as UDFA (Adams: Jags, Boone: Texans, Cook: Falcons, Fernandez: Redskins, Moore: Cards). Neither Alston nor Stevens have been picked up yet, which isn’t exactly surprising.

I'm actually surprised Alston hasn't ended up somewhere. He's a great athlete and only had 1 year at CB, I think he could certainly end up on a practice squad and try to see if he there is any potential there.

He struggled at times but also showed some promise, think he at least has some upside.

Both were dismissed from the team. Some speculation they were repeat offenders, and sounds like Saunders might have been pot related.

I thought we were out of the running for Michael Johnson Jr(4* QB) and assumed he was going to Oregon(his dad is a WR coach there), but looks like they landed their QB for the 2019 class last week, so perhaps we'll land one of his OVs, we're in his top 7 at this point.

2) if his breakout year is his RS SO year then that's not *that* crazy or that far behind schedule

This isnt about him getting back to normal. This is about him getting into Burnette's NFL Development Program For Defensive Linemen. IF, the reports are true, he will need to rehab at least 6-8 months. That's a lot of time out of the program.

I dint say breakout year. I said he wouldn't make an impact for another 3 years. I would expect Wilson's normal timeline would be mmuch like Shug Frazier. Frazier made an impact last year (R-Fr), and is expected to make the next step this year. This injury will likely put Wilson a year behind in that process.
