I mean NCAA doesn't test vaccinated players. These guys who didn't get vaccinated just potentially threw away the season for the rest of them. Idiots. All of them.

I don't think this counts as NC State Shit because it was 100% completely avoidable. This was a conscious decision by multiple people involved that led to this outcome. Every single one of these idiots needs to be called out for their bullshit and not pitied for the lost opportunity. Also, no fault here lies with anyone but the team/players. For once, you can't blame the NCAA

You and I are destined to argue about everything around here. This take isn't gonna be popular, but it's a dumb rule and inconsistent with everything else going on at the stadium. If you are concerned about Covid, then you have had 3+ months to get the vaccine for your personal protection. There is effectively no serious risk to a 20 year old athlete otherwise. You can talk about the social responsibility and the vaccine all you want and I'm with you, but you aren't protecting athletes with this rule at this point.

They have a crowd of 24k potentially unvaccinated individuals packed together in the stands with no masks and no social distancing literally within breathing distance of these players when fly balls happen or autographs are signed or whatever. Full restaurants and hotels with no mask requirements and no vaccination requirements are all over town with 100k tourists from all over the country. What exactly are we even doing here?

The only people to blame here are the people on the team who didn't get vaccinated. They knew the very real risk of this happening as a result of not being vaccinated as well as the essentially 0% chance of this happening if they were vaccinated. They knew the NCAAs rules (which are perfectly fine in regards to testing btw) and they still chose to remain unvaccinated. Fuck each and every one of those dumbasses.
