FS: Yugo SKS with Tapco stock & bayonet
Everything works, even the switch from grenade mode to semi-automatic.
Includes three magazines, one 20 round Tapco polymer, one 30 round steel mag, and the original stock and mag.
Also includes 250+ rounds of ammo (more than 200 of which are JHP Barnaul which is very clean ammo compared to Wolf), and a handful of stripper clips. The gun alone is going for $450 with the Tapco stock at gun shows. All of the above for $500 obo.

^Seriously, Marlin 795 for $130 or so at Dicks. Mine shoots one hole (not cloverleaf, not a "group"..one hole) groups at 25yrds and sub 0.4" groups at 50yrds. Small and lightweight.
That being said, I have a little Mossberg Single Shot for $100...but the barrel needs rebluing. Shoots good though. 1/19/2011 9:03:20 PM |

I'll second the 795. Bought one last Christmas for my little brother to shoot. Had a $25 off coupon for the gun too. Got it for right at $100 - can't beat that. 1/19/2011 9:53:27 PM |

Mossberg 702, 10 round magazine, semi-auto, at Wal-mart, $107. Aguila SSS rounds (60 grain) will cut bird, squirrel, etc. in half at 50 yards. 1/20/2011 1:42:16 AM |

alright, i'll check out the 795. does dick's usually stock the SS model and if so, how much more is it?
brandon, does yours seem to prefer any specific type of ammo? i've been shooting CCI stingers for squirrels in my 10/22, but i've been reading some bad stuff about what they'll do to a chamber. probably just gonna go back to the mini-mags.

^Dicks can get the SS I think, probably $20 more I would guess.
Cant shoot Stingers in the 795/60 series of Marlin Rimfires. The little plastic bolt buffer wont handle it . However my 10/22 loves them.
My 795 likes Wolf MT for match shooting, and it seems to prefer Federal Automatch almost as well. Mini Mags do well, although groups open up to 1/2" at 50yrds with that. Federal Bulk is most of what it sees though.
Either get a 795 new, or scope the pawn shops for Marlin 60's. Just as accurate, the older ones can hold 18rnds of .22LR, and most can be had in decent shape for under $100 OTD. Got mine for $70 OTD and it only took a little cleaning to get it looking almost new. 1/20/2011 11:12:43 AM |

i'd rather stay away from tube fed rifles. so much easier to just throw one or two spare mags in my vest than to screw with that tube in the woods and lose it in a briar patch.
i'll probably end up with the 795. has marlin taken care of the issues with the dovetail tolerance? i'll definitely be putting a scope on it.

Thats my review of the gun with pics. Mine does not have any dovetail issues, squared up. Really is a great little gun. I have more than 10 .22 rifles, and I pick this one up more on a day to day basis than any of them. I'll be honest, mine does have a FTE issue once in a while. It seems to be more on really cold days as I have not had any FTE's on a day above 45* or so. I polished up everything and it helped, but I think its just the lube gumming up in the cold.

^^^ I really love my supertuck holster from crossbreed holsters (http://www.crossbreedholsters.com). A little pricey but it is very comfortable considering I conceal a Glock 19. I typically wear it strong side on my hip. On occasion I wear it more towards my back when I tuck my shirt in so that my pants don't look as weird. An alternative to the supertuck is the minotaur MTAC holster from comp-tac (http://comp-tac.com/). Either way, for better concealment, take a look at the velcro clips that both companies offer.
Whatever option you go with, get a good gun belt. It makes all of the difference. I like the nylon belts from the wilderness (http://www.thewilderness.com) and am planning on buying a leather belt with the velcro backing from crossbreed in the near future.

I too currently wear a crossbreed supertuck for my xd9sc around the 4 o'clock position. Many good reviews on it and MTAC as well. If you want a nice custom leather holster, I can reccommend a couple of guys who do beautiful work. Check out http://www.rgrizzleleather.com/ or http://www.bigriverleather.com/
Edit to add another reccommendation for a good gun belt. http://www.thebeltman.net is based in Apex and a bunch of guys on several gun forums I go to buy their belts from him.

I love my G27 (a G26 is identical in dimensions, would have 10+1 instead of 9+1 capacity, and have less recoil). My buddy cannot adjust to the 2 finger grip on the G27. Since you have a Kel Tec 380, I assume you are comfortable with it and would highly recommend either G26/27 as a 1 gun consolidation. 1/23/2011 8:50:53 PM |

^^Gun shops aren't in the business of making even trades. Most will give you 50-60% of the value. Sell them yourself...and tell people what model they are and describe the condition. 1/24/2011 1:24:47 AM |

P-11 has prop 100 rounds through it. P-3AT has prob 50-60 through it.
Both are in good shape. I don't really carry often.
Ideally I'd like to sell both and not pay any money for a glock 26 or similar.
I'm 6'2 175 and can conceal my p-11 alright. I wouldn't want to go a whole lot bigger than that

I'm looking to consolidate calibers, and trade my Glock 22 for a Glock 17 +/- cash on either end.
Mine comes with NS, hogue grip, and 5 mags. Would sell it for $475, but I don't really want to sell. Trade preferred for simplicity. 1/28/2011 5:33:03 PM |

Unless you reload (and then only maybe), I'd rather be diversifying calibers, after watching what happened when Obama got elected and people freaked out and bought all the ammo that the factories could produce for, like, a year or two. At least then you have better odds of finding ammo for SOMETHING. 1/28/2011 6:18:55 PM |

^^^^^^Without knowing who made the upper I'd probably agree that $600 would be a good starting point in good condition. A good basic AR is about $750 new.
If everything else is in good condition the forearm will bump the price up about $80, the rear sight about $45, and $10 per mag. The front grip would add 0 to me because I think they're stupid (just my opinion). I also think it's stupid that the dude bridged the rear sight on the receiver and forearm but that's not really relevant. How's the sling attached to the forearm? It looks like it's just looped through the holes in the forearm, which is also stupid because it could melt to the barrel. If it's attached with a quality rail mounted attachment point that could add as much as $30-50 depending on the hardware (sling itself is $0 imo).
