I mean look what the Vikings got for Diggs: 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th in exchange for Diggs and a 7th. And what the Giants got for OBJ last year. Neither of those players is as good as Hopkins and the Texans got a 2nd round pick and a used up RB on a big contract in return. I'm still just flabbergasted.

The Panthers should offer Kyle Allen and a 5th round pick for Watson. O'Brien might just take them up on it.

So what is the landing spot for Brady that makes any sense?

San Fran is the only spot I think he could potentially win in next two years. Any other option and I think he will really struggle. I have no issue with a player wanting to play as long as someone will pay them but from a pure ability to win Patriots with a solid defense and system catering to his current skill set seemed best if Dallas and Titans not options.

Yeah I don't know how the math would work for San Fran if they cut Jimmy G and moved some numbers around. It is just only place I could see with the defense they have, coach they have, and TE/RB that he would realistically win at. He isn't winning at TB, LAC, or LV. Those teams aren't an old Tom Brady away from winning it all.

If Tom really wants to win he would sign somewhere for like 2 years, 44 million. Hard to imagine anyone can give him 2 years, 60 million plus and put together a roster that can compete with teams that have the elite QBs in prime, or teams that have young QBs doing well on cheap contracts and solid all around rosters. Haven't seen the "old expensive QB roster formula" work out in the NFL too often.

i think it’s about proving he can do it without BB. Patriots would have still paid well and been the place to win best.

BB or Brady won’t win and conclusion will be they simply needed each other. Will be a nice 30 for 30 when they enter the HOF together.

Patriots weren't willing to pay him what he wanted. They gave him their offer, he said "Welp, bye." He's gonna be making $30 million a year, with a ton of guaranteed money I'm sure

I think at this point the chargers are the team to beat. They want him in LA to sell tickets and are willing to throw gobs of cash at him.
