I am weak at 1st base. My preseason 1B pick, James Loney, isn't hitting .330 like I thought he would. Loney's .280 avg and 25 HRs isn't bad though.

Doesn't seem serious, and they had a day off yesterday. I'm waiting on word from him too, although I don't have anybody to replace him with so it doesn't matter. I would expect him to be in, but if you have a backup on the bench you might want to go with him.

another guy to keep an eye out for is Mike Hessman of the Tigers' farm system...I saw the guy play the last 2 days versus the Knights, and he had 4 homeruns in 3 games (2 games were only 7-inning doubleheaders)...he is batting over .300 and leads the league in homeruns with 16 I believe...if he gets called up he might be a nice power option cause dude has a fucking bat

Well, Beltran will have 30 RBIs in the next 25 games... you can take that to the bank. No one is better when they get hot, and he is about to go on a tear.

Sabathia is a Top 5 pitcher in the game and you better believe he will turn it around pitching for a Santana-esque (or Zito-esque if you please, minus the patheticness after said contract is signed) contract...

As far as the openings, if you need saves, think Mota or Franklin.

wtf happened to scott olsen yesterday. he had 62 pitches in the 6th inning and they pulled him before the yesterday. He had given up 4 runs real early in the game and looked strong four innings in a row (no walks either).

Even if you did don't makeup games get the stats added on to the day that they were supposed to happen? So the stats would actually be added to yesterday's (which is last week for me) totals? I think I read that one time in fantasy, I don't know if they still do that

i think its different in roto leagues versus h2h leagues

i'm in a head 2 head league and i know that if a game gets postponed partway through, you only get those partial stats for that week...i think roto leagues always count the stats eventually since its cumulative and not week to week
