Either people get pissed for trashing threads or they get pissed for not. Can't have it both ways people. If he starts trashing threads everytime someone says something to incriminate themselves, honestly when will it end. This very premise is a major function of the Internet. Posting responsibly is up to the person, self. I can see slander or the ensuing of violence being a reason but none of that was done in this situation. I think she should thank the mod who kept her from further damaging herself.

i think the point rb... was trying to make is that the moderator(s) made it seem like they suspended her to help her out while letting the thread live. If they really cared about her emotions they would have suspended her and deleted the thread. I think it's quite transparent that there are some biases among users here just from reading this thread alone. But hey, the real world is like that so it's nothing new.

So what you're saying is that we should let the people who deserve it suffer while trying to protect those who don't.

And in that perspective what determines if someone deserves it or not. I'm sure if someone revealed a secret you didn't want to get out, and you truly were at fault, who is to say that you deserved it to be revealed or not ?

To the owner, I think there should be set rules of whether to have it one way or the other way. If these biases continue I think people will become less inclined to post.
