^^ With Tebow you can either ignore it, get pissed by it, buy into it, or have fun with it.

Sorry you can't do option four, perhaps option one would be more your speed.

and the drama and more drama about the broncos winning and the overhype in college still going on since playing for the gators and then the crash and burn nfl projections and the sudden winning and now the angry and the analysis and the talking and drama and the playoffs looming and the continual talking about it and analyzing the reasons and then the injection of religion and the overtimes and the chatting and predicting.

I hate the coverage, and i find the guy annoying. but i don't hate him, i don't even know him. but it's kinda like when britney spears complains about the medai covering her. i mean, she asked for it: she's famous, and she's acting crazy, so of course the media is gonna focus on it. crazy sells!

I hate the over coverage as much as I hated it when he was in college. The fact is, Tim Tebow is not a good quarterback. He's just not. Yes, the team is winning, so no, they shouldn't yank him until they start losing, but let's be real here, they are not winning because of his "quarterback" skills.

I've learned to stop doubting Tebow. It just frustrates.

Plus I'm confident that all doubters will be stricken deaf and dumb by a wrathful God.

they also haven't played a team with much of an offensive pulse lately... the D is getting some credit in the press but come on... look at the starting QB's they have faced over the last 6 weeks

1. Carson Palmer - second game back from the couch
2. Matt Cassel/Tyler Palko
3. Mark Sanchez
4. PRiv - if playing like years past would have been a different game
5. Christian Ponder
6. Caleb Hanie

Not sure many many D's would be shaking in the boots facing many/any of those guys this year

Oh God... I didn't realize they were playing the Pats this week...

I'm not turning on ESPN. I can have fun with the Tebow thing by itself, but Tebow+Brady will be too much for anybody to take.

After this wek they play the Bills and the Chiefs, so you can expect the Tebow hype to last into at least the first round of the playoffs. Since they've been getting insanely lucky about when they're playing these teams I expect they'll get the beaten-up Texans in the first round and win in a game that will be painfully bad until the closing minutes.

After that you'll get Tebow-Overdrive and a comparison against all great QBs who have won their first playoff games, plus Skip Bayless will be fired for exposing his joyboner on national television. Hopefully they'll get squashed in the second round, but if they make it to the Super Bowl expect the Pope to be on hand for the coin toss.

(Although Tebow's Protestant, I think).

Pretty much 0 chance of this happening, Broncos would have to get in a WC spot. They will have a home game though, if they make the playoffs, probably playing the Steelers.

Also, I didn't realize Prater had 3 OT Fgs this year

Good point. I was just looking at what would match the current lucky streak they've had running.

If they play the Steelers then some woman will accuse Big Ben again the day before the game.

if you were playing a QB that just completed like 3 passes in 3 quarters, why would you start playing prevent defense?

Why? You know he's a bad QB, and he plays like a bad QB.

It just so happens that the rest of the team has been playing really really well, and been lucky in many instances. The fact that people try to crown Tebow is ridiculous.

So he's 7-1 as a starter.

If Matt Prater misses a 59 yard field goal last night, then Tebow is 6-2 as a starter. But that field goal had ZERO to do with Tebow.

He's the poster child for the adage about the QB getting too much credit for wins and too much blame for losses, although I suspect that given the pedestal his supporters put him on, I can see the double standard that will inevitably occur.

sexy rexy played in a superbowl

tim tebow has a better passer rating than sexy rexy did in 2006

couple that with the close loss last night and it's clear...

god loves tebow only slightly more than he loves DA BEARS

I thought Bob Costas was gonna start fucking his ownself last night during his Tebow piece. He obviously thought very highly of it. Now it is just a media battle to see who can cover this run the best/most.

That's just not true. They were down 10 in the 4th and Tebow played like a pro-bowler. He put them in position to win. Now you could argue he sucked for the 1st 3 quarters. But they won b/c Tebow made clutch plays in the 4th / OT. And Marion Barber is an idiot.

^^ basically speaking

his stats are kinda ass for being a starting NFL QB, his overall rating is 84 or something (okay, could be worse, he runs the ball a decent amount) but he's completed less than half of his passes all season, leaving him currently dead last in passing percentage

but since he's lately pulled off this crazy 6-game winning streak for the Broncos, in mostly very close games, everyone loves him, wants to talk about him and forgets that he plays on a TEAM of people (including a good kicker who has bailed them out, especially in the last game)

and since Tebow is super religious, we must conclude that God wants the Broncos to win

and he's white, so it's totally cool to jerk off about what a good QB he must be (and how hard he must work and how great it is that he's so humble)

feel free to explain Skyrim to me, I don't get it at all

That TEAM of people have good things to say about Tebow.

Cam Newton is equally jizz-worthy.

Cause Cam isn't winning.

Plus the way he's winning is why it's so interesting to people. It's ugly, but his team wins. Plus everyone predicting he'd be a complete failure.

I mean, holy shit. 6 wins in a row (most in comeback fashion) for a guy that supposedly sucks and isn't supposed to win and people don't understand why this is getting any attention?

To believe in this you have to agree that every defensive coordinator and head coach that has played the Broncos the last 8 weeks must be clinically retarded. I don't even like Tebow but you can't possibly believe these guys are backing off in the fourth quarter week after week after week after week.

If Cam Newton replaced Jimmy Clausen after a horrible start and went 7-1 we would absolutely hear a ton about him regardless of his stats.

If you thought the media hype was bad before wait until his flavor-of-the-month status really hits its zenith. He'll be dating a Kardashian in no time.
