ITS JUST AN ADDENDUM to the bigger NOA that they got last year which had men's football and bball listed in it. this is just an addon after UNC "self reported" these women's bball problems.

Thats why it only has Women's bball mentioned in it. But in this latest addendum NOA, it explicitly says that all the previous allegations of the other NOA still stand.

The Hammer of GOD ALMIGHTY is coming for UNC. (and by hammer of god, I mean a 1 year ncaa tourney ban for MBB).

UNC supporters insisting the university's reputation is not harmed, and in fact, is "awesome." They also insist that the wrongdoing was the fault of only two individuals in one department.

Tha Fuq? How does that work? Like we really need to see the mental gymnastics to get from the exhibits to the allegations.

MBB and football would still be included in the LOIC allegation though correct? Like that's exactly what the exhibits that have MBB and football are being used to prove, that athletic departments knew about sham classes but did nothing to stop them.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the punishment is going to fit the crime, but I don't think they're gonna skate totally.

yeah i think so. the way i understand it, the LOIC is pretty much a blanket term that applies to the entire athletics department - including MBB and football. but what the NCAA actually decides to do as far as punishment is anybody's guess. and it would make sense that the program (WBB) most heavily mentioned in the NOA is probably gonna see the brunt of the punishment. but yeah...with supporting documents that clearly mention MBB and football or any other sport, the NCAA would have justification for handing down some punishment to those sports as well. IMO.
