He's actually in a good position. If he ends up in the bottom of the first round he'll get on a good team where the pressure won't be on him to carry the load and he can learn the NBA game. San Antonio would be a perfect fit and Pop could make him a great player.

he can't stop penetration, handle the ball against smaller, more athletic guards or shoot the NBA 3. He will be a disaster.

Good pros are great at either defense or shooting.

Right but its not like anyone can just learn that stuff. He was getting free training in that here as well training in managing parks and recreation to fall back on. Its just not likely that he will devleop that way without the attention given to a lottery pick.

whats hilarious is that all this talk about this year being a weak draft and next year being loaded has tons of guys going early and this year may be as competitive (albeit not as top heavy) to actually get drafted in the first round as any.

I saw him on tv on Sunday for some reason, but I was in a restaurant and the sound wasn't on. Might have been a d-league all star game or something like that? They interviewed him after and there was a graphic about his stock rising the last couple of weeks.

It is just sad because every scout was down on him for being a great facilitator but a poor finisher, and his stat line from last night really puts an emphasis on their evaluation. Hopefully he can really make some changes and improve, because it looks like the TWolves have given him a great opportunity.
