As long as he's comfortable with the fact that it's not serious, whatever.

And to answer the original question.

Yes, he is. Very much so. It's absolutely sickening how dopey in love we are with each other, how happy we make each other, and whenever we go on vacation, we get asked if we're on honeymoon.

23 is young. seriously.

"if/ when he's ready, he'll tell you

why are women in such a rush? i mean, he's with you now isn't he? that says a lot"

"In the meantime, just fucking enjoy your life."

Very much agree to these sentiments. Chill the fuck down wimmenz.

It's not about rushing into marriage. It's about wanting to know if the other person is as serious about you as you are about them. So after a while, if I'm serious about things and you're going to play the "I don't know" card, then you aren't nearly serious enough about me to warrant the relationship continuing. There's absolutely no rush to the altar or some kind of need to take things that seriously at the beginning, but if you're going to use me (knowing you'll dump me later) just to waste my time, get the fuck out.

I didn't read all this. I see no point in dating somebody exclusively if I don't see myself with that person ni the future. That isn't to say I only date seriously or that once I have a girlfriend I think she'll be there forever. I just don't see the point in going through all the bullshit of a relationship if she isn't at atleast a helluva prospect.

^^ agree

i'm not hearing wedding bells everytime i start dating someone, but the thought runs through my mind so that i know i'm dating someone worthwhile.

i would certainly "date" someone that i knew i wouldnt marry upon first looking at them, but i wouldnt get in a serious relationship with them.

i have no desire whatsoever to get married anytime soon but i also want to make sure i'm dating possible contenders for when the time is right

Yes my so is the one.

I got married at 23 and I don't think that was too young for me but I am aware there has to be certain commonalities that will hold you together and if those are not there then you should just have fun. I don't really see the need to be in a relationship anyway if you are not looking for the one. Be single, not attached (that is when the one seems to surface-out of the blue) so that you can do whatever the hell you want without bringing someone else into the decision process.

I really hope people don't stay in relationships not to be lonely and that is never a reason to get married either!!! That is a reason I believe most women and some men need to calm down when it comes to desperation for marriage.

I found the one and I love him! He was definitely only a friend before we started dating and I think that is what has allowed our relationship to be grounded. Foundations need to be laid and a fuck buddy is not that foundation. I think the thing that lets me know he is the one is that he has made me sooooo angry but I am able to get over myself because I have an understanding with myself that I will love him as much before being angry as I will be after. We are both people that are very loyal and know ourselves pretty well and that helps as well. We can separate ourselves from one another without fear of falling apart.
