Sorta related, there's a book company that prints out a small book of photo's for each college/university's history from start to present. Someone bought me that for N.C. State and I actually thought it was pretty neat. Whole lotta architectural stuff I never knew about, most from the school archives but some were private donations that aren't found on the school site.

Who was blending old photos and new ones at the same scale last year? That was incredibly cool.

there's a book at Barnes and Nobles under the North Carolina section that has a bunch of historical pictures of NCSU throughout the years...i found it entertaining to look through.

They have one about Reynolds Coliseum as well.

I went to the Raleigh City Museum on Fayetteville St the other week. They had some really cool old pictures.

My favorite was the grandstand from the old race track on Pogue St.

Who did that locomotive drawing up there that Scrumples posted? It doesn't seem to me quite like marko's usual style, nor is it signed by him.

Beautiful rendition of a Penssy T-1, whoever drew it...

^^ If anyone is looking to buy that book, they sell them at most of the Barnes & Nobles stores in Raleigh.

^ & ^^^ Got that book as one of my Christmas presents this year; pretty good stuff.

That is true though. It's almost like "historical pictures of NCSU through the years, plus a few of this frat for no good reason."
