Anyone interested in working for Penske Racing?

Quote :
"Right now we're looking for an on the road IT guy for the race team. We currently have servers on all three race trucks with a network set up so we can share setup notes during the weekend. Soon we will be getting a satellite on our truck so that the notes can be viewed at our shop in Mooresville from whatever track we are at. Also, each team engineer will soon have a tablet so that we can share notes during practice and view lap times anywhere at the track. We need someone to maintain the network and help with data archiving. Once it's all setup and running we need someone to think ahead for what we will need in the future. The position will require quite a bit of travel but pay and benefits will be good. Let me know if you know anyone."

pm me if you're interested and think you're qualified.

It sounds pretty fun (for a single guy at least), but i don't know what the pay will be like. My buddy said "good pay" but i'm not sure what that amounts to. my buddy who hit me up is the chief engineer for the miller lite car team, so i would imagine it's probably very competitive. and you if you're a nascar fan, you get to hang out with nascar people!

We are trying to fill some positions that require lots of C/C++/linux/system level programming (or QA) experience. I'm not sure what exactly I'm allowed to tell you about the product. We officially hire through a staffing agency right now, so it's not like you can just go online and apply ( :-\ ), but I could pass your resume directly to the hiring manager.

This is the reason Im starting my own staffing companies. These people have no fucking clue what they are doing, nor what acronyms in the descriptions they are sent means, or which people and their backgrounds are actually qualified.

Fucking shit I wanted to stab the fucknut. Instead I tried to bait him in to explaining why he sent me that email. That didnt work so I cussed him out for being a fucking idiot, then asked him to remove me from his email list before I lost IQ points.
