nah, i let that sleeping dog lie. no one was really grudge running tonight, it was more of a true test/tune. i went out there looking for that black cobra, but he didn't show. he was at the rock saturday though, so i'm not sure why he couldn't make it.

so, i personally just concentrated on getting the car out cleanly to the 330ft. mark, i've been real inconsistent in that area since i got the et streets on. got a new best 60ft. time as a result, and the rest were pretty consistent. i did notice that ira and i were running fairly similar et's, but i don't think his main goal was running a number either.

Although in all honesty, it doesn't really take a whole lot of n20 to get a Vette that is set up like Ivan's to attain trap speeds like that and even a bit faster.

^^i change jets a lot depending on what i'm doing. i guess i can't really call it small there, but it's definitely not big by anyone's definition. i think the difference between my car and it being able to do more with less is that i've paid attention to the whole package being right, not just throwing more and more power at it.

^true. i don't really play those games though. it's kind of like the people that go around saying "i'm still untuned" or "i'm on low boost" when that's really not the case. maybe their shit isn't set on kill, but it's also not really slacking. cars are what they are... either you brought enough, or you didn't.

not sure, i kinda wondered the same thing... especially when the car got all out of shape the first run. i think his passenger might have been filming. he knows how to stay out of the way though and i don't worry about him making any mistakes like cutting in front of us or something. any man that can SHIFT a car to a high 8 second pass can ride along beside me any day. he was just mainly watching the back door. that way whoever is running can pay attention to what they're doing in the car, not their mirrors.

lol, yeah that's a whole different thing. just like all the ricers that got busted in raleigh a few months ago on/off capital. or the kid in orlando that recently got taken hostage and had the shit beat out of him at a similar crowded event. shit like that has NO place on the street, i agree. i hate it that's what always gets the publicity, because it sheds a bad light on everyone. kinda like the 4 wheeling scene with people that get caught trespassing, running off trails, or whatever. they don't ever do stories on the other half.
