I wish I still had the link, but they've interviewed him as well as the producers. He wanted to work in the office of public liaison.

They decided to make it a suicide after investigating other possible options because they thought it would be interesting to give House a problem he couldn't solve. He will never know why, exactly Kutner did this. I'm guessing it will add to some doubts in his own beliefs.

yah, i was actually glad to see Wilson acting like House's friend rather than bitching and moaning all the time. Much more like he was in Season 1 or 2. Somewhere along the line the writers started thinking Wilson was House's mom. Hopefully they will forget that shit.

maybe it wasnt a full withdrawal - I think he was seeing Amber b/c he just worked too much vicotin into his system, and needed to get the overdose out.

I suspect it doesn't take too long to go from overdosing to regular dosing.

That said, I suspect he should still feel like shit, maybe he was just really interested in boning cutty and could put the pain/withdrawel behind him for a little while.

Now, here is a question: now that he is no longer overdosing he can go back to taking his pills, just on a more reasonable basis?

i didn't think it's been made clear that he's been OD'ing recently.... I thought that was taken care of a season or two ago, when he was popping pills all day and faking prescriptions. Lately they haven't really shown him abusing the drugs.

the scene where house thought Amber was gone and Amber shows up singing at the bar was pretty damn spooky. Laurie did a good job making his voice crack in fear.

All in all a descent episode, even if it was a bit out of place (i agree with whoever said they didn't build up the fact that House was abusing his drugs lately, and wasn't amber supposed to be about guilt over kuttner's death?)

I didn't see anything to indicate that he had hung up and started a new call other than the fact that he was all of a sudden talking to Wilson.

I don't know that much about Vicodin, but is it possible everything was caused not by a sudden overdose, but more an "overdose" of prolonged usage that finally built high enough to cause problems? That's the way I took it at least...
