^^^ the first one is weird, the second probably isn't

^^ guitar, bass, some keyboards, certain mallet percussion, ukulele, dulcimer, theremin, clarinet, alto sax, and fretted fiddle. bass was never a problem, i just never played it in a band before and now i do.

What do you think of Bombadil?

How much longer do you think Price Music & Books will last?

^^ i'm not big on bombadil, but they're not really my style. those guys have tremendous talent, though.

you mean nice price? nice price has three locations and as far as i know they're all doing very well. they have a huge online business which is not really apparent from being in the stores

^ i can play anything that can be expressed with a monosynth line...i play nearly everything by ear unless there's something odd going on

for instance, i couldn't figure out how to play "lust for life" by girls until i saw them and realized the dude was using a capo, which would've never occurred to me

i'm evacuating my condo. i can't tell my neighbors to turn it down its not even loud and i'm sure they hear my music - its just thin walls. but i'm over it haha.

Help me decide if I should go and stay in DC to see Mumford and Sons late in May.

I might never get a chance to see them in the States, because they're very determined to stay out of the South East. I've also never been to DC, so that might be fun.

Meant like, do you know of any suggested reference materials specifically for Ulysses. You don't have to answer, just wanted to clarify what I meant.

That Girls song "Morning Light" is a total fucking rip off of the Sonic Youth song "Mote"

I saw them play last year without having any idea who they were and they started playing that song and I thought "that's an interesting Sonic Youth song to cover". Well it wasn't a cover and that's lame as shit.

without authentication, no

unless it's a particularly rare record, in which case they might

but the autograph seriously diminishes the value, even if it's real

I was researching that authentication thing (the COA) and a lot of places said it's basically pointless.. :\

I can't remember the album title but I do think it's pretty rare.. it's from the 1950's I believe

I just know someone out there would want it more than I do..

I have a copy of Charlie Daniel's "Full Moon" album that was signed by keyboardist Taz DiGregorio.

How much is that worth?

I certainly don't want a ton of money for it - it's definitely torn up and just an old record. But I figured someone out there might want it, ya know?

I did email some historical collector place though to see if they wanted it.. They had an old document that he signed for like $4K (but I doubt this is worth that much)

You, my friend are not a hipster:
