Lake Park has a swimming pool, basketball courts, and ample parking and its also located across the street from Lake Johnson and its walking distance to the Wolfline, Food Lion, and other shopping centers.

The apartment comes with 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms along with a kitchen, washer and dryer, porch, dishwasher, stove/oven, cable/road runner, and the living room is already furnished. I live with two other guys who usually do not have many people over and are not that loud. Sometimes they work early mornings so making a lot of noise at night is not good but can be handled most of the time.

My parents and I own this apartment and will probably be selling it within the next year. The rent is only 250 for everything because I'd really like to get someone in here in January. The rent is real cheap and there is no security deposit or credit check. The only downside is that if you don't pay the rent by the 10th of the month there is nothing stopping me from kicking you out the next day. Its happened too many times and that along with the noise is the reason one guy is leaving now (by the way I am giving him until January).

Well I haven't really come across anybody like that and the apartment and cars never get broken into. It is definitely not a high class area but for 250 a month and all the amenities and bonuses that come with it I don't think you can find a better deal.

I live in Lake Park but only because my apt rules. The wilson lady was up here the other day and commented on how this is by far the best unit she has seen in the whole complex. I have however seen the SWAT team roll up in here so they may have a point.

I live there and before my girlfriend comes up after dark, she calls me so I can walk her up, its that shady. We've got the police department on speed dial for getting the nig nogs to stop playing bass at 3am and 38 special in one room and a 12 gauge in the other ready to go. There are always pissed of black girls yelling in the middle of the night, random people playing music stupidly loud in the parking lot. The walls, floors and ceilings are extremely thin or just not well insulated because you can hear any noise from another room. It seems to be a mix of low income families, random worthless nigs, rednecks and some people, well I don’t know what they are. Oh yea at 5am the other morning we saw a little nig fucking fat ass hooker in the breeze way. Besides that I cant complain

I mean 250 is a good price but dont try and make lake dog look like its something its not. Its full of nigs, that are disrepectful of everyone else. Its loud, dirty, and shady as fuck. But its cheap, that is why I live here for now.

GroundBeef, its well known that Lake Park is a shithole. Notice *any* thread that mentions it.

However, there are cheap people that will be willing to live in said shithole because it is so inexpensive. You should market it as such, instead of coming off as a douche bag by insulting other users. Not exactly the nice, truthful landlord I would want to have.

Considering the clientele you are after (250 a month, no credit or security check), it sounds like you don't really care about the "shady" factor, and should try craigslist.

The apartment itself is very nice. The location is great too. I've never seen "little nigs fucking hookers in the breezeway" and rednecks are not hard to find in these parts. There is nothing shady about no security deposit or lease because the apartment could be for sale sometime this year but things like that don't happen right away. Why don't you troll in some other thread douche bag.

On another note, as a landlord it won't really matter what you think of me. I usually keep to myself and as long as I get rent money I won't bother you much.

The no credit check and security deposit would work great for me. I am not a "nig-nog". I just had a stupid ex-gf who ran up my credit card and other shit, leaving me with shitty credit. I used to live at U.Village right after Preiss Company bought "Melrose" and there were some shady people there. If they got that bad, I'd call the cops. After a few times, I assume most people would stop, or get into enough trouble to be evicted.

I mean I hope nobody would think I'm shady for playing my music while I drink on the weekend. Of course I'm not blasting it either. In the end, I assume you can just hope to get in a good location where you wouldn't have to be around such people....worth a shot for the deal/price. Now I know I'm going to get flamed...

I live in LP. Parts of it have ghetto'ish tendencies. Since two drugs dealers and a pimp have been arrested here the shenanigans have calmed down.


I haven't heard loud music or people yelling where I'm at. It's a relatively safe place to live and quiet (at least in my building). I wouldn't say it's a great place to live, but decent enough for college life (how can you beat $250-$300/month in rent?). Other college apartments have worse and better qualities.

I mean, I can name off any apartment complex and list out all the shit I've seen. In my experience, LP has been a much better experience than many apartments around here.

UWoods - loud as fuck, vandalism, break-ins, shitty structure
UVillage - loud, vandalism, ghetto, crimes
