I'm hyperventilating right now for the first time in my life.

So I had given up pretty much around the 3 minute mark. I was thinking man they can't get anything through, and the stuff they do get through is eaten up by Brodeur. Then they score and I'm pretty sure I probably scared my neighbor b/c I yelled so loud. I was running around my house like a crazed crackhead. I then decided to turn off all the lights in my room, but turn on this one light that has a red bulb in it in order to bathe the room in red. Then a little later Staal gets the puck and I'm sitting there praying and boom. I then went even crazier. I fell to the floor, laid out belly side down, and prayed to the hockey gods to let us win this one and not have any NC State shit happen. I knew NJ was going to put up a pretty furious effort and that they would have to play strong, and they did just that. It figures that this evening I would buy one of the only two remaining copies of the 2005-2006 Carolina Hurricanes Stanley Cup DVD at the Best Buy near UNCC.
