The only thing I miss is the cheap beer. When I was in Raleigh last weekend we went to EV on Sunday and it was $1.75 draft. Nowhere I know of in Greensboro even comes close to that.

Speaking of modems!

I got my first TWC bill today, $10 monthly charge for a wireless modem, $30 one time charge for "home network setup" on top of the $20 install fee. I never asked for a wireless modem, I have a perfectly fine router, it was just all that the install tech had on the truck.

I called and complained, they turned off the wireless functionality from their mothership.

End blog!

^^ dude, you must have a hotline to good TWC reps. I called to turn off our wireless router for pretty much the same reason, and they told me I had to bring it to the Spring Garden St. office and swap it out for a standard modem......that they couldn't just disable it remotely.

but that end of cone has gone to hell over the years. if you pay attention you'll notice all the empty shopping centers between that walmart and my house, because people started robbing them every fucking day.

here comes the racist part, i'm just glad none of those thugs come up to battleground. plenty of blacks from that area of town come up here every day, but none act like the people over there at 29. its like they know their place. shits fucked up man
