Hey,
Just figured i would post that we have a student opening in our IT department. This would be basic setting up machines, break fix printers, adding printers, basically janitorial work on computers.
Pay would start out at around $11 an hour and move to $12 if you know what your doing. ~ 20horus a week
Anyway, its a decent opportunity to make some money.
Prefer students from computer science or CPE, contact me for an email address if your interested. 12/15/2009 1:54:29 PM |

computer science != IT

I'm trying to get a student job in my actual field, English, but the demand for student workers seems about as low as it is for actual career workers.
So I might have to look into this, having some IT experience in the past and having smacked many jittery office printers. 12/15/2009 4:03:37 PM |

Look, computer people are all the same, just so long as you have "Computer" in something and you have 1337 ski11z your good. Ohh also, you have to show up at work, and be reliable, and be okay with a background investigation.
As much as this is a really nice job, if your a slacker, or don't show up, or have hours form 9:00-9:45 then 10:45:11:30 then from 2:00-3:00 its not going to work. 12/15/2009 4:40:26 PM |

Could you, uh, specify about those hours? Every day, certain hours certain days?
Because I am interested, yes. 12/15/2009 6:03:59 PM |

Targeted hours will probably be about 20, and probably between 7:30 -5:30 where you can work them in, its support so having somebody there for a period of time is important (problems usually don't take an hour to solve, but sometimes the customer support side of things do).
Im just looking for people. And i cant sign any paychecks, im just trying to get some resumes to hand over to my boss to decide. 12/16/2009 9:08:40 AM |

Okay, so I'll bite. What do you need from me, a PM with something, et cetera? I figure that this is just as better if not BETTER than Undergraduate Tutorial Services. 12/16/2009 12:33:21 PM |
