fat people should be required by law to park in the spaces in the back of the lot.

walking is better for you so you don't end up an obese person needing a handicapped parking spot

also they coulddddddddd have another ailment that requires the pass. but i admit that is the first thing i think, too when i see a fat person park in the handicapped space.

I work with an older (like 45) guy that is obese that parks in the handicap spot. The weird thing is, he spends a reasonable amount of time walking around the office so I don't see why his punk ass shouldn't park in the spots for the rest of us.

^this spot was made just for a new neighbor. she has to take a walk break inbetween the spot and her down stairs apt that is within spitting distance.

its not put up by the DOT though.

Handicap spots should be in the back of the parking lot anyway. They have wheels after all.

[Edited on July 28, 2010 at 10:12 PM. Reason : although that would be cool I guess if there were wheels on the parking spaces]

^, and ^^^

that would depend on your definitions of "fat" and "handicapped"

According to the Oxford American Dictionary, "handicap" means "a condition that markedly restricts a person's ability to function physically, mentally, or socially"

Interestingly, I just read this article on Huff Post today: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lloyd-i-sederer-md/obesity-linked-to-poor-sc_b_646747.html

Quote :
"Dr. Convit's work is revealing a gradient where learning difficulties increase as youth go from lean, to obese without insulin resistance, to obese with insulin resistance but not yet diabetic, to those who are obese and have diabetes. It appears that every step beyond being lean means the brain works less well and performance at school can suffer."

It is a worrying issue in this nation.

Yeh these people aren't handicap. They are just lazy. One lady that shops at my store now has her own schooter, so that she doesn't have to walk across the parking lot to get to ours. These people need to put about 10 cases of water in a cart and then do laps around the store everyday.

they just need wider spaces so they don't have to worry about squeezing between two normally spaced cars

well i mean it is a physical limitation

and it aint always the case that obese people are completely at fault for their condition

the dude i fight with has a handicap placard because i think he got hurt or somethin while he was in the military

and trust me...he is able bodied, so no its not only fat people that are takin yer spots

how bout you walk your lazy ass a little further and not bitch

i was unaware of those.

^No. Its not about me being lazy. Its about having fresh paint on car and not wanting to park inbetween two fuck faces that dont give a shit if they open their car door into what ever. its bad enough i have to park under oak trees
