I mean it is good considering i was expecting some shitty ass pop music, if she attempted to take out the guitar and replace it with some synth, electronic bullshit or acoustic guitar then yes it would've been terrible. I still think her talking voice is sexy.

why? that girl doesn't remotely stay true to the song (NOT TO MENTION THEY FUCKING CHANGE THE CHORD PROGRESSION... HERP DERP). Its like when you go see a band cover an eagles song and then it gets to the guitar solo and the dude just fucking wanks as hard as he can. Yeah i get its a singing competition, but over-singing just to prove that you don't suck has always been why i hated those shows. There is a reason no one sings like that on all the songs you're trying to sing. Its because its fucking annoying.

I just thought the point of a good voice is variation. Maybe she wasn't the greatest bc I am willing to bet she has not been trained much but in the raw she's got something to me that Miley doesn't.

I, too, think that Miley's speaking voice is sexy. I love a good rasp.

Dude that rancid/nofx split is so sick. Corazon de oro is my favorite. I personally like when bands cover songs that aren't popular though. I feel the same way about songs that are different but idk you can definitely do it wrong and totally take away the feel of the song.
