it's his dream to play D-1 ball. he's trying out for a walk-on position. he's not being offered a scholarship. If he's as athletic as it sounds ("scoring 72 points in two Division 1 state tournament games. He also had a couple of 20-20 games") and at least hang with the other walk-ons, I'd certainly welcome him.

This was my favorite quote. Wish him the best, but this doesn't work in the ACC.

I'm not hating on the kid, but I'm not going to get excited over a walk-on guard who can't play as a guard.

Does anyone remember the website that has listings of game-scheduling requests by different schools?

e.g. it would look something like:

Syracuse looking to play a team for an away game Dec. 5-7

Edit: answered my own question

Put $15 to win $3,000 on NC State today to win the NCAA title (200:1 odds).

I was going to put $100 on it but i hate money i guess.

Eh, 200:1 is a lot of compensation for a deep team with legit talent and size.

It's probably at least breakeven or close value. If we make the tournament as a 10-12 seed, 100:1 would be about right I think, and we are prob 50-50 to do that

check out the description on one of those: "atmospehere"

seriously, that account should just go in favorite better quality videos elsewhere on youtube, sort of like a central nc state hub, like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyXV_ki-Fvo and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnIZ82y0jJ0 for example.

also, just realized that countdown is above is gonna change. maybe they'll make it the next week, i'm assuming they'll still do it this year... there's a volleyball game and soccer game the night of the 14th...

The website http://www.gazellegroup.com/events/legends/index_main.htm shows us as a host team, but then we play in the semifinal against Vandy. The whole field will be announced later, but does it sound like we will host a game for the classic before playing Vandy?

That Texas game was shameful. We came back by opening it up with Gavin Grant and our other black players. Then fucking Sendek coached us out of the game by putting fucking Evtimov back and reverting to boring ball.

Classic case of risk aversion separating elite coaches from average ones. Sendek couldn't deviate from the game plan. Any plan is only good until the battle starts.

That Vandy game was the purest example of NC State Shit.

Would look better if one of those was switched out with the struttin' wolf (either at mid court or inside the perimeter). Just saying....

I feel like its too much on the court, I would've loved the strutting wolf though if it was the old strutting wolf - not the new one.

i could see the darker finish inside the 3pt line helping 3 point shooters w/ positioning...maybe this is Scott Wood's floor.

Not a fan of the court at all. Too many block S on there and not a fan of the 2 different finishes. If they really wanted the 3 point area to be a different color we should've just gone with the all red interior like we had under Les Robinson. I wish we'd replace either the large block S, or the small block S with the strutting, snarling or slobbering wolf if we really have to have that many logos out there.

i was actually thinking about this as well. seems like it would make it easier to know where you are on the court at least since it would stand out much more in your peripheral vision. also, having the logos on both sides of the lane would give you more reference markers for running your offense. if anything, the guys should have no excuses as to where they're supposed to be.

thinking about all that makes this court look like dance step instructions
