I think it has real potential to elevate his game. The only way it could negatively affect his game is in rebounding. But he was already so good of a rebounder that you can't really attribute all of that to his size/weight anyway. On the plus side, he should have more stamina and quickness. I'm excited to see him play this year!

The biggest plus I take from it is that his biggest drawback, foul trouble, should be reduced. The times he made really dumb fouls last year had a lot to do with not being able to control his body/momentum and just getting tired/lazy which led to touch fouls 10 feet from the basket. Its so hard to do at that size so I have a lot of respect for a guy that can lean up like that.

we're going to be a bubble team this year. we may narrowly miss the tourney because we will just have too many losses. but our tough schedule will keep us in the discussion.

we will have around 7 acc wins.

just listened to a lot of interviews. i think having all of these head coaches on staff is huge for this team/system. sidney's assistants were useless.

Ours fans have the shortest fucking memories. We had two head coaches on our last staff as well (Towe and Strickland). And everyone was jerkin each other off on those additions as well because not only were they head coaches...they were also former State players who knew what the tradition of NC State basketball was like!!!1!1!!!!!one!!!!

So calm the fuck down. Let's hope they don't get the golfing bug that Monte and company caught.

All we'll have to do is watch the first game and see if the assistant coaches do anything other than high five the players as they come to the bench. That should be a pretty good indicator as to whether or not their head coaching experience/style is any different than the previous group.
