I know this is super [old] and I am late as crap but I just now saw reloaded and revolutions (since everyone talked so much shit about them i just never got around to seeing them until now)the first one was one of the best movies of all time and the 2nd one was terrible and the third was average at best. How did those movies fall off so terribly when it was a prewritten triology as opposed to sequels randomly written?I never really understood how neo was able to work his magic in the real world in the last two movies. Was the "real world" really just another matrix? Please to not flame.

Did they really write the trilogy ahead of time, because the sequels definitely felt like they needed a story just to make money off a movie where there was no story to be had. The third was by far the worst one. 90% of all the fan speculation as to what the third movie would be about was better than the actual movie.

I pose the question: Why did George Lucas go back and ruin all his own epic films?Mainly:Star warsIndiana Jones

star wars wasn't ruined. A pre trlogy can't ruin anything. Maybe if he made 7 8 and 9 he could potentially ruin the face of the brand but even that wouldn't ruin 4 5 and 6. I would really like to see a 7 8 and 9 even if they aren't great but he is too scared to ruin it.

south park posed that question years agoeven though the question was posed by everyone before that
