Best of luck to him.

I like the kid and I hope he succeeds. I really do believe he'll be a valuable player his junior and senior year. Just not this year.

A steady performance that delivers us a win tomorrow would be absolutely huge.

I think he looked good against Virginia, better than what we've seen out of him previously. Hopefulle he continues to improve

Too bad we aren't good enough to get up big on shit teams. Then he might have some more game time.

I'm definitely a tyler lewis fan. I got about five autographs after the red/white game, and his was actually the one I was most pumped about. Just give him some time, he'll be gooood, I know it.

I am all for fools hope, but you guys are crazy if you think that Lewis is gonna win the game tomorrow. Whoever is matched up with him will take him down every trip.

He looked much better against Virginia than any other time he's been on the court.

That being said, he didn't look good and the team looked totally lost with him out there, as opposed to just running their schemes and knowing Zo would move the ball.

^It'd be helpful if the team had more faith in him.

The slowdown in production almost seems psychological.

You can't blame the team for that, though. It's a two-way street. If the guy looks like he's gonna get pickpocketed any time he dribbles, it's hard to just run the offense instead of constantly looking to get back and cover when he loses the ball.

^^yup, that was obvious in the Virginia game when guys wouldn't pass the ball back to Lewis when it was clear they couldn't make a shot.

It may look like he's about to get pickpocketed every time he touches the ball, but ballhandling is actually not his weakness. At all.

Lewis is turning the ball over once every 15 minutes. He has a 1.8 assist/TO ratio.

For comparison, Brown turns the ball over once every 10 minutes. Purvis has an asist to turnover ratio of 1.1.

Lewis isn't a good player yet, but all he needs to do is run the point and distribute the ball without turning it over.

He is getting fouled every time he dribbles the ball. Might be why he looks like the other team is gonna steal. The ball.

He needs to dribble into the guy and force some fouls.

But today is the day

Will we suck again or be VICTORIOUS

This would have been a 20 point loss without him. We miss our transition game but we are a better halfcourt team when the ball is in his hands. he can get anywhere on the floor and is basically steve nash without the 3.

good job today. i was wrong, he is ready to play he just needs to run an offense suited to him and not the offense we run with zo.

I don't mind the last shot. It was an open shot, zero risk for turnover, and let our guys crash the boards. It just didn't go in.

Miami is for real, and Larkin is the quickest PG in the league ... maybe the most talented too, besides Zo. Lewis more than held his own. GG Lewis.

Glad to see him have a good game. I always thought everyone was being a little harsh on him considering PG is a tough position for freshmen and he never got much P.T. until today.

16 pts, 5 assists, 1 turnover against the best team in the ACC in his first game running point full time. Go young man, Go

TL, Barber and Purvis in the back court next year. When was the last time we had 3 burger boys in the same back court?

Not sure if you guys missed the last minute of the game. He played well up to that point, but pretty big choke at the end.

We lost because we couldn't hang onto the ball when they turned the pressure up. Not sure if he just got nervous or what but that was poor execution. Totally goated a game that was already won.
