I agree with it going only 6. Heat haven't sniffed the nets this season.

The NBA League of shadow Illuminant conspiracy team is rubbing their hands together and smoking their cigars over the money they will make off this Heat/Nets Match-up. Brooklyn NY AND Miami? Good set up.

Thunder and Clippers has good star power and the Spurs/Trailblazers...you might have to spice that up

god help us if the Heat/Wizards is the ECF game. But we all know that wont happen. The refs are already paid off. E man is with me.

^^^That would be hilarious. Kobe wouldn't hustle for one play and Roy would try to bench him.

I have the distinct feeling that the Pacers are getting swept.

Hibbert is playing himself right out off this team and maybe out of the league in a couple of years. You cannot be 7 ft. 2 and get 0 pts, and 0 rebs in 18 minutes during the playoffs. He also posted a delightful -17 +/- and 5 fouls tonight.

Isn't roy williams dantoni 2.0?

[Edited on May 5, 2014 at 10:35 PM. Reason : plus carolina would hire larry brown and we'd be in big trouble then]

He really isn't a good coach. Ownership/management should take some heat for this season and playoffs too though. Iguadala wasn't the piece to put them over the top but that's essentially all they did to improve their team from last year.

Yeah. They can totally do better. Steve Kerr or Stan Van Gundy are really going to take them to the next level.

I don't see how you can say that he's not a good coach. I like Curry and think he's a great player, but he's not a Lebron/Durant/Kobe(young, not old) guy that can carry your team through a series...save a game or two where he can go off. He's not a dominant big man, large scoring guard, or great point guard (like Paul).

The rest of the team is just really good role players. And that team almost took down the Clippers...a clipper team with two top 10 guys and the top rebounder in the league...along with some other really good role players. He also did this without his best post player and defender (Bogut).

He's a good coach...he's just an ass that clashed with everybody EXCEPT for Curry. If Curry had the Kobe/Lebron influence...Jackson would probably still be there. But he doesn't.

Naw son. He's not an "X's and O's" coach! [/ESPN]. And Curry wasn't the only player who routinely spoke out in support of Jackson, lots of other players did too.

Dude took a joke of a franchise back to contention in back to back seasons. Curry is special, but he did great things with that team. Everyone in the Bay Area is basically on suicide watch right now. Team is fucked

Thought everybody was exaggerating about the Kevin Durant MVP speech....but I was definitely wrong:

Holy fuck that was intense. He might be the new brand rep for Kleenex...but that was still a pretty moving speech. Congrats on the MVP KD...you can tell it meant a lot to you.

Well I mean you've got 4 of the top 10 players in the NBA on the court in this series and none in the other. Imagine how good OKC could be if they had a coach and an offensive system.

Lebron James saved the ball and was carried into the 3rd row like everyone else, but then turned a corner and flopped up 10 stairs as if his momentum was still carrying him.

I realize nfl is more popular but still don't understand why people would watch a draft over a playoff game. Especially in a league that seems to have less correlation between draft position and becoming a star.

it's a best of seven series. game 2 in round 2 isn't must see television. however we got to see where potential future All Pros like Clowney and Watkins will be spending the first 5 years of their careers.

there's a reason the playoff game was on ESPN2 and the draft was on ESPN

I can see where a guy is drafted without watching the draft. Nothings actually happening at the draft. Drafts are not games.

but a draft is like foreplay with a chick that might be hot some day.

[Edited on May 9, 2014 at 2:36 AM. Reason : its not even foreplay. its not anything. its guys shaking hands. foreplay would be a skills contest]

getting a lap dance from a hot college grad can be more entertaining and interesting than watching a porno of middle aged women doing scripted stuff

you already admitted the series was fixed

of course, you also thought Brooklyn would dominate the Heat, so

NFL Draft = watching a girl you picked up when it's cold outside take off her clothes (you don't know what you're getting into, no action happening, you can wait until later to see what you're working with)

Games from last night = getting head from a fatty who doesn't know how to give head (about as boring a night one can get from NBA playoffs)

Watching any draft sucks. It adds no value to watch it. I followed like hell on twitter and didn't have to deal with assclowns like Chris Berman and Gruden...

I'd much rather watch Nets-Heat than Goodell show up every 8 minutes followed by Manziel Watch.
