KD scoring at will had nothing to do with the Clippers implosion. Right.

Why are they shitting on Paul?? They should be shitting on the refs for a horrible call. Are they trying to say he delivered a nut punch or undercut him? I can see the hand motion...but that's nothing and was an abysmal call.

Didn't really affect the game, but it was a bad call.

Kind of funny how the first round had everyone freaking out about Miami being left with the easy pass....Spurs, Clippers, Thunder, and Pacers all had a good possibility of going out in game 7s...yet it now looks like their three biggest challengers are still standing. Should be some great conference finals.

Also funny that while Indiana has made it this far...I still don't know what to expect from them. Despite a good game or two, Hibbert is still playing Downey soft. West is carrying that team. I don't think he can do that against Miami. They're going to have to step it up another level.

Glad no matter how old he gets, how much money he makes, how many commercials he stars in, or how much success he has, Chris Paul is still an asshole and a dirty player.

Pacers have zero chance against the Heat. I feel like I'm being gracious saying that series goes 5 because Indy just doesn't have enough scoring. Rarely do they string 4 quarters of good offense together.

lmao he clearly grabs adams' leg to undercut him. that is honestly more dangerous than a head on charge

Not to start with the whole "tendencies" thing, but yeah, the refs know how Chris Paul plays. He's dirty as hell in addition to being a flopper, so he gets extra scrutiny.

That left hand pulling at Collision's thigh was no accident. Great call by the refs.

Yeah, I didn't think it was much at first, but if you look, he actually grabs him behind the knee and jerks him.

This is the point actually. Playing Big baby instead of Granger helped Durant. Putting size on Durant is always a mistake.

I knew the Pacers would make the ECF. smh. the NBA reads like a well known book. I don't know about a conspiracy but, 9 out of 10, the good team beats the bad team in a 7 game seris. it's simple

David West IS carring the team. a beast. I belive it's the Heat that's has to step their game up. They played 10 minutes of good basketball through this whole playoffs it feels like. And in some games they were on the ropes. They jack up so many 3's and Chris Bosh is their consistant 3 point shooters it seems. CHRIS BOSH. Pacers are huge matchup problem for the Heat.

Heat in 6. dont be surprise if goes the other way.

Watch the reaction of the assistant Thunder coach on the bench. He saw that dirty shit by Paul. That guy is a scumbag.

Heat bench is lacking a bit though on a consistent level. Norris cole had huge games last year. Mike miller stepped up when he needed to last year. But mm is gone and norris has been mostly off. Unfortunately battier is still jacking up 3'd but hes a superior defender.

In the end though ray allen can make up for all of that because hes a cold blooded clutch shooter

Id like to see if spo pulls out the greg oden project but with hibberts inconsistency it might not be needed. The heat will play small ball all day

I can see this going to maaaaybe 6 but certainly not 7 only because of home court advantage

It really looked for all the world like the Pacers were going to get bounced in both series they played. I'm shocked that they made it through given how poorly they played and how inconsistent they were on offense, which is normal, but also on defense which is supposed to be their strong suit.

They cannot get away with that against Miami. If Hibbert doesn't show up and play like he wants to be there Lebron will score 45 and have a dozen dunks per game.

Heat are going to play small ball like they do, try to play a fast tempo on offense and then force Indiana to execute in the half court.

Before Indiana forgot how to play basketball back in February it looked like they were the best team in the East. Now, despite making it to the Eastern finals, they look like the worst team left by a wide margin.

Heat in 5, I expect a huge performance by Lebron in game 1 to set the tone.

Yeah, agreed. Theyve been so inconsistent i'd say they stole the bid to the ecf. Im surprised they even made it out of the atlanta series.

if Hibbert was whining about having to play out of position on D against Atlanta, he must be on suicide watch due to playing the Heat

Realistically, you look at lance and pg for offensive production. Unless either hibbert or west have stonewall jackson games, indiana will be sub 90 pts. Then it will be the heat big 3 and 1-2 bench players throwing up 100+ pts

Indiana and Miami split the season series 2-2, with each team winning the home games. As inconsistent as Indiana has been the last month or two, they're not going to have any problems getting motivated to play Miami. I think the Heat win the series, but I think it goes at least 6 games.

while I don't necessarily think it'll happen, I can easily see Miami coming out and curbstomping Indy in Game 1, and it being too much for Indy to handle emotionally, making it a relatively easy series for the Heat

if there's one thing that Indy has proven over the past few months, it's that their heads can be fucked with

people typically only pay attention to refs in the 4th quarter and don't notice the importance of calls like west's first foul where he didn't even touch chalmers. now west in on the bench with 2 fouls. battier is holding people on every screen.

never understand the coaches like vogel who use mass subs to rest starters. its always been this way. get a 10 point lead, sub 4 or 5 starters out and let the other team catch up. What else could happen when you have stephenson and 4 bench players on the court for extended minutes?

One thing about spoelstra is that you rarely see wade and lebron on the bench together unless the game is over.

He's a great coach. He may not have always been and maybe Pat Riley has closely managed/puppeteered him but regardless, he's running one of the best offensive systems in the NBA and keeping a team where all but 1 guy is role players playing their roles proudly.

Got $1500 on the spurs to Win the series.

kawhi and splitter are just too much for okc to handle .

Only thing that makes me nervous is parkers hamstring. Can't allow Westbrook to have good shooting games.

I expect Perkins, fisher, and brooks to really submarine okc and popp to expose their weaknesses

^bold pick. Thunder is a bad match up for the spurs. It'll be interesting to see how the Ibaka injury effects the Thunder.

I hope Spurs in 6, but I honestly think KD & Russ pull this one out for the Thunder.

Heat drop a lot of game 1's - yesterday didn't surprise me. Tomorrow night should interesting.

I knew it. like I said. I know it's just game one but the heat have no answer for David west. The main defenders on him are Haslem and Chris Bosh. CHRIS BOSH.

The Pacers have not won a game one all playoffs against butt munching teams. but the Heat? shot 61% from the field. Unreal.

What has happened between last year and now that would make you think that. They went 7 last year and all evidence supports indiana being better with Miami being worse than a year before.

^^ Granted, they played their best playoff game by a mile Sunday, but Indy's offense is way worse than it was last season. Their team chemistry is also down from the same point a year ago.

This team has already hit their high water mark and would get swept by San Antonio if they did make it.

Yes. OKC is done without Ibaka. That's just too much Adams, Collison, and Perkins on the floor.

what a weird team
