Me too. They've so horribly mismanaged that franchise that they don't deserve success until they get a new owner.

Vogel's 2nd quarter lineup shenaningans are going to lose them more games then it wins them. You can't rely on a lineup of watson stephenson butler scola and mahimi to play extended minutes together this late in the playoffs. Who rests 4 starters at a time in the playoffs?

West got poked in the eye at the worst possible time. It cost them like 4 possessions . Lebron seems sick or soemthing. Wade has been elite this series.

series over. still gonna go 6 or 7 but that basically seals it. pacers offense doesn't function without west. when he goes out all hell breaks loose unless stephenson plays like lebron. crazy how they rely on one guy so much.```

[Edited on May 20, 2014 at 11:16 PM. Reason : play of the game was cole poking west in the eye. perfectly executed without fouling]

that dark alley meeting was like 4 years ago. it still doesn't mean things are over. the heat and refs CAN be beat even though we've only seen it happen once...it happened.

[Edited on May 20, 2014 at 11:20 PM. Reason : how about a flagrant on lebron for excessive flopping]

if the heat somehow win it all this year, do the refs prevent them from winning it next year since jordan never 4peated?

So the real question is, does Lance deserve a fine for that horrendous, horrendous flop?

Durant will not be better than Lebron next year. The MVP award has never been an indicator of who is the best player. I have no idea of who will be the most marketable team next year. There are way too many free agents and we don't even have a clue who Lebron will be playing with and for.

[Edited on May 20, 2014 at 11:29 PM. Reason : ^only an idiot would watch the other team change the game by flopping and not flop]

who cares if Durant is better than Lebron next year? If the Thunder are better than the Heat in a best of 7 series in June, the NBA will make plenty of money

it doesn't really matter in the finals because there isn't another game for people to watch (or not watch) after lebron is eliminated.

Spurs might sweep OKC. Without Ibaka they are woeful on defense and Durant and Westbrook will literally have to combine for 75+ per game for them to win a game.

^Yeah, I think that series is going 5. Durant and Westbrook are good enough to steal one game, but San Antonio's frontcourt is too deep and too good for them to have a chance without Ibaka.

NBA fine stephenson and send a clear message that flopping will not be accepted....unless you're the heat.

PG has a consussion and might miss some games. I've seen concussions last days but some have lasted weeks. His seems pretty bad considering the way he got hit.

conventional wisdom says that a series isn't over until a road team wins

but

this series is over

and Ibaka being out is a big deal, but I'm not sure it's this big of a deal

First order of business next summer for Indiana needs to be finding a point guard. They have no hope against this press without one on the roster. Its been their problem for years.

People will say they don't get the ball inside enough but Miami's pressure makes them turn the ball over when they try to just pass the ball into the post. People will blame Stephenson for dribbling too much but he is the only confident ball handler on the team. Nobody on this entire roster can pick a spot and get to it to create angles for good entry passes and Miami has exposed that.

if the Bobcats hadn't lost that game to the Celtics and/or the Heat hadn't rested all their starters against Washington, we could've played this choking ass Indiana never-won-shit franchise in the 1st round

They've played terrible defense the entire series too btw. This has been a bit overshadowed by game 1 when they shot lights out and outscored Miami. Their pick n roll defense is atrocious. Wade walks through the paint whenever he feels like it. Indiana helps AND allows penetration so Miami can get anything.
