i feel like tinder is just an ego boost for most of the people on there. It's amazing how many matches i've had, even ones where obviously the girl swiped yes to me first, that don't reply to a simple opening message. It's mostly a game to me, but i still reply to a few messages even if i have no intention of doing anything else.

probably 12-15 messages exchanged between me and match 1. started with both of us having long weeks of work, needing a stiff drink, and then the weather (LOL). mentioned i had just gotten back from LA, we talked about travel, and then she asked about work. nothing after my last reply (8-9p)

I mostly use Tinder to check out the hot girls when i go on business trips. I've actually taken the time to only meet 2. One local and one in Portland. Laid the pipe to both.

Honestly I think Tinder is the most difficult way to pick up girls. At the bar you at least get to have social value (being seen with friends and/or having a good time) and the opportunity to make a opener to capture their attention. With online dating you/them can filter on personality and common interests. Tinder is just a big "hot or not" game....

I'll say I swipe right all the damn time don't care. If I match up and she is cute I will message, if not BLOCKED. Anyways.... a lot of these damn girls have friends in common with me....i have hooked up with 10-15 on there. Of those NONE lasted and most flipped on me.

Then there is the girl you get their number and just text for months on end and never get together.

Then there are at LEAST 10 who have flipped their shit on me when "I flaked" or we didn't meet up.

Best story is liking a girl on there, having a convo...meeting at Oxford and literally banging her that night.


Then there are a LOT who never respond. I am getting bored of the damn thing.
